Even if we had won today, the most important job before the Christmas break and Ciro's destiny-decider is still ahead, get the job done against Inter and Bayern and we are back on track. If he fails, he will probably resign himself, since that would basically mean a fucked up season. And I think he is trying to keep the morale of team at some level with these comments, since we've got some serious work to do after a weak.
If the 2nd half was everything our players can do, as you say Ciro, then we're in big trouble and you underestimated them so much, it's not even funny.
