Something seems very wrong having Camo, who is an all out attacking player really, with vicious, but inept defensive abilities, alongside Momo, an out and out destroyer of souls, who is the exact opposite to Camo...He can tackle, hussle, maime, gouge, kill, with impunity and regal consistency, but he most definitely CANNOT be relied upon to pass or create. Its horrible to say that...'can not be relied upon to pass', about any of our players, and if it were anyone else, I would not want him anywhere near the first XI...but Momo is a special player, whose Enforcer abilities are, at times, second to none on the planet.

Still...That formation would see a massive unbalancing of our team.

Momo on the left of the 2, would make the whole left side Locked Down, allowing Grosso to do more of what he is best at i.e. dribbling, crossing, scoring whilst masquerading as a left back. So...I guess that evens the scales a little. Fuck it...maybe it would work a treat. I dont care what formation we play, as long as I get to see Momo crunching people...Indeed, even the scoreline plays second fiddle in mind, in terms of importance, to witnessing the Malian's unique brand of Rough Justice. For instance, I would be happy with a 0-5 loss to Bari, if Momo just happened to injure, for life, 5 of their players, with only one yellow card received. That doesn't make me less of a supporter than anyone else on these boards. it just makes me a little...unrestrained.

Forza Juve...

Ciro on Del Piero:

" Does he fit into the 4-2-3-1 system? I think he has everything it takes. Of course I cannot ask him to cover the whole flank, but we have proved in training he can do well in this role. "

Ciro Ferrara believes the hard-earned three points will be “very important,” but Pasquale Marino rues his missing stars.

Fabio Grosso scored the only goal of tonight’s game to give Juventus a 1-0 victory over Udinese, restoring them to second place.

“We won a very difficult match and these are going to be three very important points,” said the Juve Coach.

“It’s true we struggled a little to find space, especially in the first half, but the only thing that counted tonight was to win.

“It was also positive to see Alessandro Del Piero and Momo Sissoko back in action, they helped contribute to the victory.”

Juventus remain five points adrift of leaders Inter with one more Serie A round before they go head-to-head on December 5.

“Inter? Right now I am more focused on Bordeaux,” said Ferrara of Wednesday’s Champions League opponents.

As for Udinese, they made the trip without Antonio Di Natale, Simone Pepe, Alexis Sanchez and more, but still had some chances.

“The absence of certain figures made an impact, unfortunately,” sighed Coach Marino.

“After going 1-0 down we had some scoring opportunities, but were not very effective upfront. At least the team fought hard.”

I've finally come to a conclusion.

Ciro is not the man for the job.

We have a schizophrenic team that plays great one game and like amateurs the next

This must come down to the coach... nothing else

Hope that I won't have to see this for more than one season. Apart from the usual cluelessness, wrong tactical choices and lack of appropriate plan, what I really don't like in this match is Ferrara's approach. We were playing for a draw, not more, and we were not even trying to hold the ball or attack properly. Hence their goals were inevitable.
Once again Ferrara was owned by the opponent's coach. The list is so long that I don't even want to write here.

Ciro must be replaced asap. Juventus anno 09/10 is the worst ive ever witnessed. We have no structure or offensive tactics. The best we can produce is freekicks- and it seems like the players are satisfied with getting one.

Our CL lineup should be the following:

Buffon
Grygera Cannavaro Chiellini Molinaro
Camoranesi Sissoko Marchisio Giovinco
Iaquinta Del Piero

Not necessarily the best, but players able to play in a high tempo and more importantly actually give a damn.

Dont be sad from the CL disqualification, Ferrara wasnt brought to win the CL right away.
We wouldnt hire a clueless coach if we were aiming that high, lets think of the future and our 10 year plan...
