The very same medal that Zaccarado, Barone, and Peruzzi have. I do consider him excellent for a fourth choice striker but not a starter and certainly not World class
the same medal that del piero has.

IQ has never got playing time with juve... whenever he does he always scores.
While trez has the more natural striker instinct. IQ is much tougher physically speaking, much faster (but still not fast enough) and hard working.

Amauri is our worst imo... switching between Trez and IQ is better.
Also i hate the Amauri IQ combination... way too similar.

Its irrelevant weather del piero has it or not, i'm not bashing WC medals i'm saying that even players who play very little part in the teams world cup campaign still get the medals, iaquinta made a few sub appearances and aside from his goal against Ghana was not one of the Azzurri's stars and should not really be credited with having a big part in winning said medal. My point is that having a WC medal does not mean you are a world class player

Sure world cup medals don't make them world class players, but you have to admit that both Iaquinta and Grosso had their role for winning that world cup, comparing them to Barone and Peruzzi is nonsense..

That is also another extreme; Barone and Perzzi had no hand in those wins, at least not when it relates to on-field matters. However, to look or consider Iaquinta and Grosso as more than bit-part players in that triumph would be a massive overstatement.

They had their roles, without Grosso, Italy maybe wouldn't qualify to the quarter finals, and if I am not mistaken, Iaquinta scored important goals too (I know he scored, but can't remember how many and which matches right now)..

LOL @ Grosso being a "bit part" player in Italy's world cup win.

He started almost every game, won a last minute penalty against Australia, scored a screamer in ET in a semi-final against the home country, and the winning penalty against France. He was by far the best LB at the tournament.

Hardly bit part. And I dont even care much at all for international football so I'm looking at this from an unbiased view.

The players presently missing from the first team or its fringes, who I am desperately eager to return to full fitness, do not include Del Piero...
Momo is the key. Marchisio...serious backup for Momo and Melo, and also perhaps he can play in one of the wide positions where Camo and Gio currently stand. I am sure that he would do a better job there than De Ceglie...and likely also offer more than DP in that role. because it calls for energy, movement, and the ability to help out on the flanks tracking back, when the full backs have pushed up...
Also, I am eager for Zebina to return to the fold, as in the brief showings early on this season, and in pre season, he looked decent.

Still...Momo and MArchiso are truly all that is missing, from my point of view.

DP will find it hard to get into the team. He is not strong enough or quick enough to occupy any of the attacking midfielder positions...and unless we play two in attack, how would we include him???
