I wont be so rating at that, I think considering the calibre out there this decision seemed most likely. However that said I think we have a new lippi . Forza Ciro

Whats so great about it??
That Juventus FC couldnt find a better coach, than someone who has never ever coached anyone before??

Since when is this considered to be such an achievement??

Why not give him a chance? He's done well with the team so far, and we can only hope he does even better.

i love yr posts and i agree alot with yr opinions but cronios i think u r being way tooo analytical of things regarding juventus specially when it comes to who will lead the pack next season. yes u r right i agree we r with ferrara bec there r no other coaches and thats not the boards fault who can manage juve??? nearly all the top managers are with teams now. they were going to assign spallatti and people moaned and said noo we dont want him, mancini and the same answer was said, lippi is some one people should start getting over with. i think ferrara is the best option and u never know cronios i mean who would've thought lippi would go on to win the scud, cl, and world cup when he first started being a manger? the same thing could happen with ferrara. he def needs time and we should'nt be saying things like juve will win the scud this year, its not a must but we should be patient and for once take this a step at atime ( i mean with our hopes and aspirations)

Exactly, lets show some modesty!
We should not applaud it like the 9th miracle of the world.

Watching comments, "that is finally the step to the right direction", seem far too hilarious to an average, unbiased, objective, serie A fan...

Our Juve googles make us feel that is what was separating us from the top.
But the other fans are laughing with is, by fielding the cheap, but honest, Ferrara vs Mourinho and claim we can finally win this...

It is not the only i was riding against the wind, soon or later the forum members will start to understand what i am talking about...
It wont be the first time. But what surprises me the most, is how easily the forget our defensive persistent issues and reboot with a fresh, false hope for the future...
Its not bad too bad to live in a dreams world, led by a fool's hope, but ignoring reality can be very bad...

I ve always liked Ferrara and i believe it is unfair to ask him, to win Mourinho under those circumstances.
Not that material he is facing and with that defense, he is having to work with.

Ferrara should make one step at a time, if he fails so early, that might ruin his carrier. IMO, our exceptions might ruin him!

i think the bold part could possibly change, bec he will still fix and rearrange things in this team. i mean by that, that he will sort out our defense i'm pretty sure he has recommendations to make to the board regarding our shaky defensive line. i think we can draw the highlights of his season to be after the summer transfer window when he has everything tweaked and sorted out.

motivation and spirit can take u far to a certain degree but not all the way to a title ( as has been proven by our first season back to seria A). so we still have to wait and see how he lays out our players with all our new arrivals. so here is hoping its a strong solid start for ferrara bec it would be great for evey one. players, fans, and board.

@ Cronios

I agree with you that we're better off with a more experienced coach, but right now we have no other choice. Not many quality coaches available out there.

So the next best thing is to hire ferrara and give him a one year contract with an option to renew if he does a great job next season, if he fails to deliver then we can get Gasperini (who allready signed a one year contract with genoa).

Let's give ferrara a chance, worst thing that can happen is us finnishing 4th next season (with the players we brought we simply won't drop below that ).
