Two weeks ago, Juventus Vs Lecce. We were playing home against the bottom of the Serie A and we drew 2-2.. We played Atalanta last week and we drew as well. We have not been winning and we have been conceding goals like there is no tomorrow in the past 2 months. Ferrara came in and we all know he cannot change tactics and strategies in few days but he did work on the mentality. The players got on the field thinking about one thing, how to win this match.
They were moving 10 times better on the field than in the previous 2 months and they were playing together. The 3 lines were close to each others and players were actually opening up spaces. Nedved and camo were given a more free roles that suit there creative abilities in addition to letting Del Piero start..
Ferrara did something to the team. And he did it very well.
We created alot and we conceded to little and thats a very important thing.
In the past two months Ranieri has lost interest in improving the team which led to low mentality state to our players. He was satisfied with us getting a draw against the last in the Serie A while we were competing for the second place against milan. He lost hope in the Serie A when the race was close. He did not believe in our chances in winning the Serie A which affected the players. It was clear that his hope was to do well in the CL (ONLY). And once he got knocked out the team collapsed.

But damn... seeing Ciro on the touchline in his Juve tie today almost made me cream in my pants.
Personally, it's not the result as such that gives me hope, but the way we were pressing the opponents once they reach the centre of the pitch, the way we were passing the ball quickly and intelligently, and the way the team defended as a unit rather than individually. That is surely very positive and also very promising. Forza Ciro.

All I am saying is, if Ranieri was on, there was a possibility to get another bad result, I mean we lost points against Atalanta and Reggina (Reggina the last team on the table), never say never. If Ranieri was on, we wouldn't have played motivate like that, that's certain. And don't get me wrong, I am not sure about Ferrara, neither for Conte. I want a much better experienced manager with Ferrara as an assistant..

i don't know what game did u guys watch on sunday, but Juve performance was not " Ruthless" at all. there was nothing special about the performance, i know we got the result but interm of actual performance we were not that impressive IMO. it was as if we were playing a pre-seaon game, with Siena having the upper hand in the first min or so to score. on 12th min DC was lucky not to ge a red card. Zebina looked like he was going to die on the feild, am curious what distance did Zanetti ran or lets say walked during the game. Camo looked a little lost, nedved was ok nothing more. there was no need at all for Trez sub as he did actually nothing at all. Poulsen do nothing right, he is just a different player than what i saw from him before he join, thought he would be a wall in DM but he actually was no better than Ekdal.
