Milos Krasic FTW!

If a Serbian wins over me, then he has to be special (like Dusan :D ). This guy is special.
If he comes to Juve ALL OF YOU will love him. I'm betting on that right now.
...
i have seen a bit of this player and must say that i liked what i saw but if you analyze what his best "weapon" is, you will surely find out it is speed. he just plays the ball a few metres in front of him and runs around the enemy, but for this to work you have to have that space behind the opponent. we are juve and most teams play ultra compact defensive lines where you do not find the space to play the ball behind the opponent and just run by him. so his first weapon would be useless most of the time for us. other then that i saw a few good crosses and a few good strikes, but he does pretty often play the through passes on the wing to hard, so the teammates do just get the ball 1 cm in front of the line. having not the fastest players as fullbacks i see him constantly playing the ball over the goal line because none of our players are fast enough to hunt for those over-powered passes.

and now to close the gap to the topic... NO,krasic would not help Ferrara :p

Because Diego is not a natural left winger. We purchased him because he had been excelling as an attacking midfielder, drifting into a supporting role behind a striker, for werder bremen. You don't spend 25m on a player then immediately ask him to play in a new position. Its that simple.
ah i see, so you better change the whole system and let everybody play an unknown system (including someone like melo who was nearly as expensive as diego who also has been struggling to find his role here).

i guess, yeah ... we see now how well that works !

Agreed! You seems to have a lot of knowledge about football. However that type of fast football requires a high level of fitness level and a good understanding between the players, which are the two things that we seem not to have at this moment.
thank you!
yes these two things are lacking right now and i can see that it takes time to get a general unterstanding with new players, but the fitness should not be an issue. that is totally ferraras fault. i don't know, perhaps he never led the seasons preparations for a team by himself. i wished he would have taken some advice from another coach of how to prepare and get stamina ...

I think Diego was tried there when he was in Porto but he failed. Among the players we currently have, I think Giovinco is the most suitable for the AML. He was very effective when given open space (usually available in the flanks) and his crosses were very good.
i don't know the games diego played for porto but if you just judge the characteristics he should be able to play that. you name giovinco as left winger and yes that could also be an option.

i had that formation with gio as second striker (behind amauri) and diego as left winger, but i guess you could totally switch these positions so gio is on the left wind and diego the second striker.

But now once we have Alex back, Ciro did not have any clue of how to fit Alex to that formation.
that is the sad thing. all this "bla bla friends aside, i wil choose the players not based on friendship or status" was all talk no walk.

he clearly should not have played del piero in that game, because he was as slow and clumsy as he was in the game before where he only got a few minutes. surely not match fit

“I tried Del Piero as a centre-forward in training, but it’s not necessarily true we’ll play like that on the day. I don’t think Fabio Grosso will be available, while I need to evaluate Amauri’s condition.”

Grosso availible means no jew :weee:
:shifty:

Anyways Ferrara is right in resting Grosso and playing molinaro (or whoever) in he's place. I'd rather he even rest Grosso in Inter's game next week because we do need a 100% fit grosso against bayern.

Noticed in the past weeks that whenever Grosso plays two games in a row in one week he doesn't perform well in he's second game. He's stamina drops alot and i'd hate to see that happen against the germans.

Caceres------------Chiellini-----------Cannavaro---------Brazzo (if he's fit)

I'd like to see that back line against Cagliari....

Don't tell me that you expect us to sell him in January???
Someone said January transfers are a bad idea, then he pointed out we got Sissoko in a January tranfer window, simply making a point it's not always a bad idea to buy someone mid-season. Nobody is intending to sell Momo.
