if the opposition had a better calibre of players than us, then you would look to tackle their weaknesses, but this wasn't the case...WE had the better personnel and WE were expected to produce the result...WE should have played to our strengths, but unfortunately, that could not happen, the whole team had a very, very poor game...

and what changes are you referring to? you do realise that Canna was unfit and that we have ZERO fit strikers...that was arguably our strongest XI we could have played out there
Are you for real?
You play against your opponents weaknesses no matter who they are.

And I don't think we had better calibre, they were all over us from the start to end. Besides, better calibre is of no relevance, you never go into a match thinking you'l win because you're simply "better" - it takes work

when ferrara was appointed, i thought that it is a begining of something new. so far he represents the same school of SLOW football.

we are slow and we aren´t even tactically good. as Dušan said a big NO to italian coaches. (of course there are exeptions).

so if I'm playing Lecce, would I look to focus on my strengths or their weaknesses?!

and if you're still wondering if whether we are or are not of a higher calibre than Bordeaux, then you need to take a closer look, buddy...we couldn't deliver the performance that was to be expected, that is a completely separate issue
