Criticizing is fine. Heavily criticizing too. Even name calling, insults and death threats are OK when it comes to someone like Molinaro who has no business being in this club in the first place. But when it comes to someone like Ciro Ferrara, you just need to think before you chose your words, that's what I think.
nicely put!!!

i think the ciro bashing is taking it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to far either here in this thread or in the siena match thread. its in all honesty sickening.

i think today we went out and got three points that were crucial and thats what counts. yes our game play was horrible but look at the starting 11 fielded in todays game. i can understand ferrera has samps game on his mind but watching molinaro for 90 complete minutes is painful!! other than that i think the man is doing well and is trying his best.

and whats this talk about hiring the wrong man??? i think this talk is non sense. lets give him time and then judge him. we gave ranirie three seasons why cant we be patient with a legend from our own ranks??!?!?!

Isn't a bit too early to talk about replacing Ciro?
Not at all, I don't see him making this team any better than Ranieri's time, we have much better squad, and yet we are doing just as bad as then. His formations, handling matches, substitutions and tactics aren't promising. We can't waste more time now, just like we did with Ranieri. I don't know, how many matches are we struggling? Sure we might start winning again, but Ferrara proved that he can't handle crisis. And more to come yet, he is not ready to coach a big club like Juve yet. It was a dumb decision, the faster the board realize, the better for the team. It's not late, we can save this season, but not with Ferrara..

Terim, I'm sorry to say is not the right replacement. You can actually never find the right replacement in the midst of the season. Just way too many variables. It's just better to give someone who has been chosen after much deliberation, a fair go at it.
Why not Terim? UEFA cup win with Galatasaray (Back then when winning that cup wasn't that easy), making Turkey 3rd in the Euro Cup. Many leagues won with Galatasaray, and specially 4 leagues in a row.. He is the man to improve the Turkish football, not to mention, his good run with Fiorentina, then Milan, sadly he resigned, because he can't stand when a clown like Berlusconi tells him what formation he should pick! Terim is much better than the names being mentioned here, mostly those Italian managers..

The Juve we have been seeing all year, even against Roma and Lazio, is a sub-standard Juve.

The Juve we saw this morning was like watching a horror movie, the football I see played by amateurs on the weekend seems more skilled.

We have the team on paper to demolish anyone on our day.

Melo and Sissoko together are good enough that Cannav and Chillini wouldn't touch the ball all game.

Diego, Del Piero and Giovinco can run rings around any defence.

Amauri, Trezeguet and Iaquinta can poach goals from anywhere.

We just have to find our rhythm and we'll be unbeatable.

Last year with Ranieri we had 4 offensive players on the field, Del Piero, Amauri, Camo and Nedved. This year with Ciro we have 3, Amauri, Trezeguet and Diego.

Sampdoria's game will surely give (atleast to me) a clear idea how Ciro's mind functions :martini:
Smartest post on here, let's wait till the samp game to make a clear judgement, we are coming out of a rough time but with two wins behind us now ciro is going to have to decide if we move up from first gear now and spice things up with changes and style of play. Or if we stick to first gear and grind out results.
