What's the big deal with this? It's not like it takes a great deal of physical exertion to get 6 women pregnant...
I know, but what I meant is that he has a good engine to make women pregnant at the same time, I mean he must have a good time in his hands.

What if Al-Jazeera ran a special program on all the sex scandals by Catholic priests and tries to paint the whole Christian community as sexual deviants? What if they show a few more things like increasing number in single moms, number of babies out of wedlock, sexual activities among teens, exploding porn industry and gay marriages to ‘prove’ that the Christian world is truly a bunch of sexual perverts?

I know how you feel now. No need to explain.

That’s how I feel when I watch one of those Fox News programs on ‘Islamic Terrorism’ or right-wing talk show hosts who cherry-pick stories from Islamic world and paint a very scary, different world to us. For the record, I am not a Muslim.

Sometimes it's scary to see what a polarized world we are living in today. We are so blinded by ideology and our own beliefs; we simply don’t see the other side. If you don’t look, dress, speak like me and if you have a different god – you are bad. If you don’t agree with me, you are bad for the society!

Is it something natural to human beings? ‘We’ are always right, ‘others’ are wrong? Where are the roots of this mindset? Ohhh – no easy answers here either!

Well... the conflict of religions isn't a new issue, it dates back to long time ago.
Also the reason why we see such programs on the western TVs, is that they have a stronger propaganda than the one in the east.

Confusing Fox with something "natural to human beings" shows a fundamental misunderstanding in reasoning.

Religion is nothing to do with this.. If your mind is free to the top limit, you wouldn't care of being a pervert, whore, gay, asshole, whatever.. If your mind is fucked up and you take orders from a book and kill yourself or others because of that book, then it is nothing to do with religion, God, Book, spirits, it all has to do with your level of stupidity..

why don't we just mind our own business??

Actually, that's wishful thinking. People are prone to influence. How did Hitler make an entire nation believe in his bullshit? We're not as resistant as we think. Religion is a fantastic tool for manipulating people, one of the best ones we have.

Religion fanatism, Nationalism, Racism you name them as long as it is dividing people, or making some of them think they are better than the others, ie black or white, Muslim or Christian, Israeli or Arab, If you have individuals like these, like you said it is easy to influence them, and you can use books or leaders as tools and control them the way you want, isn't it to do with stupidity? that you let others to control you, instead of choosing your life the way you want, and not live for others?

overall i agree with both of you, but personally i think only weak minded/non-educated people are influenced to extremes, its sad really.
