John, your internet connection has nothing to do with IE. I remember that in a certain setup, you would be prompted to connect when starting IE but those aren't really related. You should be able to access that dialup dialog from the control panel's network settings somewhere, it has nothing to do with IE.

Ah. I've alway just opened up IE, and up would pop a box asking me if I wanted to connect. I'd hit connect, and it pops up a box with my ISP username and password. Mozilla doesn't seem to do the same.

How do I get the little connection box open in Mozilla? And can I get Mozilla to pop it up for me when i start it up?

As I said, it has nothing to do with IE or Mozilla. You need to set up your connection in windows, I think you already have, you just need to bring out that connect dialog separately.

    You have two options:

    1. Stop looking at porn so u won't need a secret account for your xxx bookmarks :p
    2. Vote for this feature to be implemented here:

    3.

Because I want Mozilla to be my personal browser and everybody else in the household to use IE. That way I have it all to myself and I dont have to worry about skins annoying people etc.

I dont do porn. Another problem is that nobody else will be motivated enough to use Mozilla in my house. And my dad will biatch on and on about how everytime he clicks something A red dinosaur pops up on the screen.

He will proceed to connect that to a virus and make me delete the program, etc.

See now there i said it. Can I please know now?

I could have sworn I saw a password protect setting somewhere. But gray knows Moz better than me by now..

Usually it will prompt you on start up, if you've disabled that it's trickier, you have to dig in the IE settings me thinks.

I did. There was a button to reset all IE settings to default including home page and default browser. I clicked on it, but it didnt work.

There are password settings in Mozilla, just not for a userID. The master password is what its called. Its used only when you want to store passwords from websites you visit.

Okay okay, that's valid enough ;)

In Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options. Go to the Programs tab, and check "internet explorer should check to see whether it's default." Leave the settings, run the bastard and say Yes I wanna make it default.

 I'm flattered :embarass: Umm i dunno, i haven't really looked into that, but google told me that there's a vote going on for it to be implemented, and i assumed it was current.

You know Lac, you should not have set moz as your default as readily as you seem to have done. I'm very hesitant about that myself and never agree to it unless I'm positive I'm not going to want to change back cause it's not always trivial to do so.

hmmm i fail to see why it would be so hard. It's not like a huge step or anything. I switched my default after about a day :)

Is anyine using DAP with Mozilla?

I have a little Q.... I want to Use DAP in Mozilla. I went to the Edit-->config. in DAP and checked the box that says integrate into Mozilla. i made sure the proper .dll file is now in the plugin folder for mozilla. my problem is that i cant see to find anything about DAP in the context (right click) menu. i dont see traces of DAP anywhere in Mozilla.
