Martin, yeah. Its common practice over here for parents to charge you board to cover food costs and a portion of bills, once you start earning. Most of my mates have been paying it for a couple of years now, as much as £200 a month and as little as £40... it depends on the parents, so I'm actually quite lucky in that respect!!

whoa, that sounds rough :biggrin: I could live at home forever if I wanted to. Well, maybe if I got a permanent job I would eventually face that issue :undecide:
