OK Snoopy, here's another one. If you can find this cartoon for me, I'll never go against you in any discussion or any topic! OK, make that 2 cartoons.
1) There was this cartoon about 3 fighter jets which could fuse and transform into a giant robot. It's like 1 robot would be the head, the 2nd would be the torso, and the third would be the legs. The planes would fly out of a tube in the shape of:
2) There was a bunch of robots that could do time travel, and all of the robots were shaped like animals\insects. I distinctly remember one being like a grasshopper. I can even recall an old, white-haired doctor kinda character.

snoop yr childhood is pretty much like mine, apart from lulu 
although i used to watch sally ( if u know it, its the cartoon version for little princess my sister used to love it so we watched when it was on) i think its bec we r almost the same age group bec i hated pokemon, i hate power rangers, etc etc
