Here's my question. What happens if you verbally insult a cop on the street in your country?
I'm not really sure. It depends on what you say and who you say it to. I've never verbally insulted a police officer.

Though I did once see on a tv show a young man get arrested for saying "this is how cops get shot" when he wasn't happy about the ticket he was getting.

Here's my question. What happens if you verbally insult a cop on the street in your country? Is that some kind of crime? Because if so, that's the most self serving law ever.
Anybody insulting cops or Barack Obama under Northcom rule could be charged as a terrorist. People have already been charged with terrorism for such things.

I know it's whack, but that's where we are heading.

It depends on what you say and the police officer you say it to. If you piss off the wrong cop he or she can arrest you for just about anything without the Northcom rule. Raising your voice (yelling) and cursing a police officer can get you an assault charge if you aren't careful.

Did you know that some harsh critics of Obama were charged with terrorism in Texas?

It most certainly is whack. Even criticism has been construed as threats. This is what you call breach of our 1st Amendment rights.

Insult is not the same as threat. People insult each other on this forum all the time, whereas threats rarely happen. The question is do cops have some sort of protection from insults, which would be preposterous.

I guess terrorism is the joker though. Just like child porn. Whatever the case you can always f someone over with that accusation.
Terrorism is the biggest fake policy this country has ever seen.

You speak out against Obama, you're a terrorist.

    Everybody is a terrorist.

I don't even feel like arguing with you guys, but you both are pushing the laws and facts too far in trying to help your argument.

It reminds me of the old man that was hit by two cars somewhere in New England where people let him lay in the streets.
