They still finished above Milan (even though Milan spanked them 6:1 that season) and they had Pirlo, Seedorf, Vieri, Jugovic, Zanetti etc, but yeah, they were shit and they were 5th at the end.

You obviously don't what you're talking about. The guy is a club legend and is very good at two positions. Carragher is getting old, but he is still good. He wouldn't get raped in the Seria A. He'd do very well, in fact the speed of the league might even raise his game.

I hope we get Juve in our group as I'm sure there are many teams who want the same. Juventus is a club that was cut down from greatness and is trying to make it back again. But they're missing one thing. One very important thing. Depth. Juve absolutely have no quality depth. Right now it's a two man game with Camo and Del Pie. That stuff works well against Slovak teams, but how will it pan out in the Serie A or the CL, I don't know. If I'm a Juve fan I'm sitting back and enjoying the win all the while hoping to god that Giovino doesn't flop. What I'm not doing is celebrating like I won the Super Bowl and talking nonsense.
Truth is Juventus does not want to meet Liverpool. Not this year. Heck if I'm a Juve fan I probably don't want to draw any English team. Italian teams seem to be cursed in recent years. I wouldn't start licking my lips over one game and a bunch of misconceptions I think I know.

As for Robbie's Inter stint. Did you make any attempt to look up anything about Keane other than what he did at Inter? Sure he failed there, but how many Italians have succeeded in England and vice versa? Going from Coventry City to Inter is a bit of a step up for a young player. But hey who am I kidding someone who was Juve material could handle it. Anyway he went on to have a very reputable career at Tottenham. Now we've purchased him and what's wrong with that, sure we overpaid, but name one striker in the market who was as good or better that would have been cheaper.
