I'm very interested to see how Motta prepares tactically for this game. Given how much Manchester City are struggling without Rodri (particularly in midfield), our midfielders need to control this game.

Time to see where the fuck our sporting project is at.

Yeah, I hope we do. Their midfield seems very fragile physically with Gundogan, Silva and some no names. Us playing with Thuram, Koop, Loca/Luiz should bully them.

Well, our return to European football was fun but short-lived. So enjoy it anyway. There may not be a next year. :wine:

There’s a huge gap of quality between the two teams so it’s only natural to think that a win for us is highly unlikely, but considering ManCity’s current poor run of form and the fact we’ve rarely lost a game ourselves then a draw here might actually not be outside the realms of possibilities.
