Do you already discuss the referee?

Carlos Velasco Carballo - a spanish referee when in all other quarter finals spanish teams play. And one that gives 6 yellow cards and 0.8 red cards in average...

Bayern win or a draw for us.. They're a juggernaut right now. Only a couple of Quag bazookas can change that, but oh we'll. :D I have to admit to you guys I'm still a tad bit nervous about the scudetto run in still. This 9 point lead can look a lot less invincible over the next two matches with Lazio and Meelan. Sorry, for not being outrightly optimistic, but I'm still cautiously optimistic :( Not celebrating just yet.

I do think we can get 2, however, I can't see us having a clean sheet. its all about the away goals in this ties, and the one team that scores it, will go through, I guess.

I would love to see a 4-3-3, just come up with something new Conte, Bayern need to be surprised!
What I've come to realise about Conte is that, although he's a progressive coach and wants his team to play nice football, he's ultimately an Italian coach, meaning he'll always take the conservative option, and is too cautious to start a game with a full attacking formation, even against the weakest of sides, let alone one of the strongest.

The reality is you have to be able to pull some bold tactical moves to beat a good opponent at times, even if it means taking substantial risks in the process.

True enough I suppose, but our team plays very schematically. In a new formation, players will have to look for eachother. I fear it will make us all the more slow.
I do not know if that would be really a help. Bayern is used to play against 4-3-3s - but is not against the 3-5-2. So they would probably adjust very easily. And the unusual formation could backfire when a team is not really used to play it very often.
well, this could be, but in a 4-3-3 the roles, especially in the final third of the field, could look nearly the same as in the 3-5-2. and Bayern adjusting to a 4-3-3 version Juve would also happen, however, I think Bayern hasn't played all that well against such a formation. Leverkusen, Dortmund etc. are playing their version of the 4-3-3 and were successfull. Don't getr me wrong, I am a huge fan of the 3-5-2, but I have hardly seen a team adjusting so well to our tactic like Bayern. We could go out and play the same system, but I don't think this will happen.

IMO this should be the game plan:
--------------------Buffon--------------
Caceres/Isla - Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini
-----------------Pirlo - Pogba-----------
------------------Marchisio--------------
Isla/Giaccherini - Quagliarella ----- Vucinic

Defensivly we should try to isolate them on the wing. Try to put 3 guys around Ribery or Robben and isolate them from the rest of the team, this could make it hard for them if they try to link up with the fullbacks, as well as finding the midfield to change sides. If they have the ball in their own half, press with 4 guys, force them to play the long ball and for god sake, put Marchisio on Schweinsteiger, he was awesome in the first game.

Offensivly we should really try to get Pogba involved. Pirlo will again have a hard time, Bayern will try everything to pressure him from left, right and behind....with Pogba, Marchisio and Vucinic dropping to the middle, try to play a quick ball through the middle, the center defense is their worst part in the, attack it with Vucinic, Marchisio and Quag. Just my version of fantasy football :D

TBH that's complete rubbish, Conte played 4-2-4 for several seasons, then 4-3-3 3/4 of the season last year. He's playing 3-5-2 because it best suits and fits the players we have.

The Italian coach thing is just something people like to use when they don't get what they want out of one of them.

I do not know if that would be really a help. Bayern is used to play against 4-3-3s
But not Juve playing it. The unpredictability is something that might make it tempting in this one-off game, no one knows how it is going to work or the exact personnel.
