Always a risk of this happening once it went to the last game and the risks only got bigger with the circumstances of the game being as they were.

Juve, with the exception of Vidal, played the conditions pretty well, so it has to be all the more frustrating to concede a soft goal that had nothing to do with the adverse conditions.

Pogba has to be deeper in front of the defence so that he is either in a position to mark Sneijder or intercept the long ball that was played up to Drogba. Once Pogba was out of the game and the situation had to be defended three on three, it was always going to be dangerous.

Anyway, wasn't this game that cost Juve. When thinking back over the games in the group, I can't look past the two monumentally stupid goals Juve conceded against Galatasaray in Turin as the moment where Juve lost control of things.
