I've seen a lot of Chelsea this season.

They have always struggled to break down ultra defensive sides despite being patient throughout a match. Part of their ongoing problems in maintaining a challenge to Manchester United is their obvious lack of good passing and movement off the ball. In the EPL this season and last they have struggled to beat sides that are the equivalent of clubs like Torino, Catania and Reggina.
L0L there is no equivalent in EPL to the likes of Torino, Catania and Reggina... that's just plain silly, if you compare the weakest sides in EPL and in Serie A
I don't think we should be pessimistic going into this match. After all we saw off Real madrid twice in the group stage. And it's not as if Chelsea have a visionary like Fabregas or Xavi in their ranks.
i don't really see how u can compare those 2 groupstage matches with the upcoming 180 minutes of tactical football in the knockout stage...

Would like to, but i cant :[

What do you mean?
You think the likes of Stoke and WBA are stronger or weaker than Torino and Catania?

that's exactly what i think

edit - i mean, they woulda been 10-15th place if ithey were competing in serie a for sure
Impossible to tell. What do you base this on?

The English top sides have been better than the Italian ones lately, but then you can look at the UEFA cup and you see Italian teams do better.

Of course he thinks they're all stronger than the Serie A teams. He's been brainwashed like the rest of the world.
just to make things clear, my pesimism is based on the poor performances we showed against the epl teams cuz they know to play against juve. they playd strong, pacey football and they pressed us hard on every goddamn inch of the pitch so i expect something similar to see tomorrow and that's why i think we will suffer:[

It depends on our tactical approach to the game...History doesn't count...

Nah, i think the quality of the teams outside top 4 is more or less equal. I believe WBA would be relegated if they play in serie A just like Reggina will be relegated in EPL.
Eventhough Udinese destroyed Tottenham earlier this year, i believe that the quality of the mid-table teams is also the same.
The only difference is at the top and with a little stronger Juve and Milan, even here i believe that there won't be much difference.
