Hi guys Celtic fan here thought the draw could have been kinder to us but the atmosphere in both grounds will be electric and youse have a great club with some top quality players. If any of youse are heading to Glasgow for the first leg it will be an experience like no other

With Kris Commons, we wouldn't need to sign anybody else. He could field all 11 positions simultaneously and we could at least make it to the CL quarterfinals on him alone.
Well, Commons does have a weight problem, so could cover quite a lot of the pitch.

That's true.

Not in a good way, though.

Celtic have more history than us for sure. They have an unheard of 43 league titles. Compare that to our 30. The only team bigger in Europe would be Rangers...54 league titles. When you also factor in that these are Scottish league titles and Juve's are merely the weaker Italian league, then you see that the gap is even further.

If Juve played in their champ we would have nearly 100 of titles by now probably..

...getting away from the 'jovial banter' for a moment...until the 1950's and 60's, the Scottish League would have been considered to have been as least as strong as the Italian League...this was recognised by no other club than Juventus, who had two Scottish managers during that time...they weren't very succesful, but it was suggested that language/communication were the big problems, not football style...

Funny, since most of us are merely agreeing with what we've read on the Celtic forums. :pado:
Well, no.

There's a significant difference between supporters of the underdog club dreaming a little and being unduly confident out of naivety and ignorance of their opponents and their league, and of a genuine disdain, condescending, belittling piss-taking out of naught but malice and disrespect to the other club.

It's childish and it's all that's going on in this thread.

People are just making fun of some quotes read on a Celtic forum. If it offends you so much, then go elsewhere.

If you want to have a serious discussion you'd do better at a date close to the match. Or in a different forum.

I've never understood the wish to glad-hand via the internet before a big match.

It's less about wanting glad-handing and more about the joke got old pretty quickly. Ha ha ha they aren't as good as our team ha ha! Brilliant, well done.
