Treble is still a unique achievement no matter what. Many of those CL's that Real have won is after coming nowhere close to winning the league, so that means extra focus and commitment in the CL to 'save the season'. Being the clutchest team in football while you are having a trash season also helps I guess.

But again, they have done a 3peat which is much bigger achievement than a Treble.
Agreed. A 3peat is something very few clubs have done, in the modern era no one apart from Real Madrid have done it. But that gives me some other comfort from a historic point of view, read the lines just below honours.

stop saying it's boring watching madrid win cl so many times.

it's not their fault teams like juve or dortmund or liverpool shit the bed against them

they went 32 years between the 60s and 90s before they won it. 32 years. they are not unbeatable.

dortmund had more chances in one half than allegri's team did in 2 entire finals combined.

allegri would never approache a cl final allowing team to attack.

they may have chocked, but credit to them for taking the fight to madrid
Agreed, Dortmund played naive football vs real madrid but had a bigger chance of actually getting a result vs madrid than we did.

Their manager made a mistake bringing reus on for their pacy winger adeyemi. The kid messed up a huge chance but his pace kept madrid on their toes in the first half. I would've brought on Malen (another pacy forward) on for him.

Allegri didn't have the balls to bench pirlo in the UCL final vs Barca, and pussied out starting barzagli at RB and Alves as an attacking midfielder lol

Besides Morata's goal I don't actually remember many clear chances vs Barca.

Same goes for mandzukic goal and that pjanic shot vs madrid in 2017

my favorite player in that team aside from Luka and Kroos.

vinicius and rodrygo piss me off for some reason
Vinicius is the black winger version of lichtsteiner. Can only like him if he's on your club

It's not about that bro. It's the fact that no one will ever even come close to 15 even if they never win another CL this century (which we know they will anyway). It's only football's 2nd century and the GOAT club is already determined. That's the issue for me.

I remember penalty shout vs Barca (Pogba). The issue was i guess we chased the ball most of the game. I think i remember saying that Vidal is gonna get sent off if he keeps fouling people (he got booked minute 11). But we didnt have many opportunities. As we were chasing ball we also got tired and the 3-1 happened, after we pushed forward. We actually had a momentum spell at 1-2 before Neymar scored 3. We had like a 20 min spell. Then Allegri made 3 subs last 10 minutes but we didnt have many match deciders on bench (Llorente, Pereyra, Padoin, Coman, Sturaro, Ogbonna was the bench).

Higuain had a shot cleared off line by keeper before Ronaldo goal in 2017. Also i remember Real were making many fouls first half but didnt get enough cards. And in the end it was us who got a player sent off. Real made 13 fouls first half. They only made 5 fouls 2nd half. Dybala was first player booked minute 11 and it must have also affected his game, particularly 2nd half when Real had the momentum and you chase ball most of the game, which results in fouls and possibly 2nd yellow. He had a very quiet game that night. 2nd half, Isco particularly put in a strong performance in comparison, of course Ronaldo and Casemiro took the spotlight with goals. I think Isco was the best player on the pitch and Real was therefore taking control of the midfield, owercrowding it, while we had Pjanic and Khedira.

That penalty shout was a penalty, but I mean actual chances. We need structure to our attack, allegri's do what you want only works if you have messi ronaldo benzema vinicius neymar rodrygo bellingham type players. Tevez and morata were not that.

Putting a support striker as main source of midifeld control and tempo was never a good idea, I think that's why dybala was invisible

That first team was built on peanuts though. Barzagli 300 000, Morata was the most expensive signing. Tevez was peanuts. Pirlo was free, Pogba free, Vidal was peanuts. We didnt even have resources to buy bellinghams or viniciuses of this world. Then they go break bank for 29 old Higuain and 33 Ronaldo, as the midfield got worse and worse. Lets pair Ronaldo with Lemina, Can and such.

you're right, but you don't need the best players in the world to create clear cut chances. You need a plan of attack and allegri did not have that in the final.

Ancelotti just said that Real won't go to the club world cup because fifa is only offering 2pm for the whole competition. I though it was more like 50m?
