Agreed, it was a stupid rule anyway. Sure, we have also been fortunate at times because of it, 2010 is a good example. Fiorentina and United games comes to mind, also against Arsenal in 2013.

But against Inter in 2011, 2016 against Atletico, and in 2021 against PSG, it was the other way round. Overall I'm glad it's gone.

Fully agree RE away goal rule.

I reckon the addition of the Conference League has also been a good move. Its made the Europa League much more entertaining and balanced.
