Basically slotting world class players in every stage of the pitch without spending much. Allegri should watch every game napoli has played this year and takes note how to play attractive football.
Yeah not sure what sorcery Guitoli is doing over there but fair play.

Kim Min-Jae's release clause of €50m goes in to effect in the summer — only for non-Italian teams tho

Napoli winning won't change shit. Yes they will be applauded for their football, style etc, but players like osimhen, karashdtdrtf, and others will be poached by the richer clubs. Then Napoli will once again become irrelevant. This is a blue moon, it won't last, and the model isn't easy to replicate. I don't even think spaghetti knows how his players have managed this way of playing.
How people can’t see this is hilarious.

He finally got it right. Let’s not pretend that he was doing miracles with them before tho. Napoli were massively underperforming for years and a lot of their transfers were busts. They’ve finally got it right this season and they’ve been over-performing and playing out of their skin.

But the hard part will be a) keeping their best players (won’t happen) b) building a dynasty c) expectations after winning d) players dropping concentration and motivation waining

This is why Napoli will go back to being Napoli after this season.

Yeah an Ajax is waiting to happen.

Osimhen is already a goner regardless of what happens.

What would favor Napoli though is given how broke the league is, they can easily keep up being a regular CL team making knockouts every year and maybe challenge for the league.

This season is a jackpot for them. A chance to make more money than they've ever seen in their lives.

Context does matter tho — they are working substantially smaller budget than most of the bigger teams

Fully prepared to wait another 8000 years for Cherubini to have a 'miracle' mercato like that icl

Napoli this season is very comparable to Dortmund from 2011-13, Ajax from 2018-19. As you say, they will soon enough become average again when their best players are sold to bigger and richer clubs.

Tbh if Napoli wins the CL I'll be very much jealous. We spent years building towards that goal, doing it the right way and still came up short at the end.

They suddenly have a team that clicks and win it? Fuck, wish we'd do that.

2014-2015 was peak JJ. We started losing it in 2017 imo. Yes, we did reach the CL final that year, but 2014-2016 were better teams in my opinion.

We lost our way when we sacrificed midfield to bring in the fat fuck from Napoli and then the Prima Donna Portuguese Shitcunt.

They ain't winning the CL, lol. Bayern or Madrid will eat them alive. To compete at this level it's not enough to play well and fire on all cylinders. The mental aspect is too important and both of these clubs play like they own this cup. Real are especially known for this. You might be 3-0 up at HT and you can't take them for dead, it's crazy how many times they manage to turn things around, even against better sides.

I agree, I wasn't the first one saying that I was adding to a discussion already going on

Did you think I needed educating on how good in Europe Real have been this past decade?

Great Stats, but did we win anything? Did we improve in Europe? We were a disjointed and dysfunctional team. Rodildo didn't improve us.
it could have been a different story if we spent our money on actual good midfielders. out of the 10 we bought since his arrival, only rabiot and loca aren't complete failures, and loca's performances are still inconsistent, while rabiot started to care only in his contract year

ronaldo was very good for us. overly expensive, yes. the team wasn't mentally prepared for his arrival. he still was very good.
