At least the Romano one is kinda right- that’s a great transfer window. But with a loser club like PSG it doesn’t matter who they sign.
The Ceferin one is just pure hilarity.
it looked great until september when it turned out that ramos is useless, messi can't perform consistently, and the goalies' competition is probably counterproductive. one unhappy moaner in the locker/press is something every club wants to avoid. and even wijnaldum isn't a starter either, he's being benched by paredes and pereira, and those aren't great players to begin with. so yeah, most clubs would be happy with such a transfer window, but i bet psg would only label hakimi as an unquestionably positive transfer.

best transfer window ever was obviously a stretch.

Yeah, it's called being outside your comfort zone (Barça); and he sucks there, just like a lot of us predicted.
I still think he is among the GOATs because his level while in his comfort zone (Barca 2010-19) is higher than any player I've ever seen. However, the drop off in performance level for Argentina and now outside of Barca at club level will definitely hit his legacy and make it impossible for people to argue that he is the unanimous GOAT.

Of course he is among the GOATs, but defitely not the GOAT, precicely because of being too comfort-zone dependent, and I would add for never turning games around for his teams - sure he's great when things are going well, but he never saves his team and just puts his head down like an emo.

There is no such thing as the GOAT. People should just stop with that shit. There are those who were the best in the era they played in and that's it.

Without modern medicine and technology Messi wouldn't be able to play in the past and even if somehow he was treated back then I find it hard to believe he would do well with how physical the game used to be.

He would be carried out with a broken leg on a match like that one in 74' against the Netherlands. Or that Brazil - Netherlands that same WC. Players of today would cry for their moms after the first kick to their knee.

Del Piero, Baggio, Platini, Van Basten just to name a very few of the long list of legendaries.
Imagine Cris Ronaldo against real defenders such as Gentile on a potato field without a ref's protection.
