I dont belive the ref was paid or anything, its just their default mode to favor Real. I dont know what purpose it serves.
Of course he wasn't paid, it's not the 60s anymore. I tell you what I didn't like though, was how fast he was trying to get that red card out of his pocket. He didn't give himself time to think beyond more than a split second. In fact he probably got a friction burn he whipped it out of his pocket so quickly.

That to me makes no sense at all. If anything it looks very dodgy so early on for a big call. You see refs all the time running in to give yellows for obvious ones like preventing counter attacks in midfield or crunching tackles, but not this.

I don't see a difference between people on here trying to discredit Reals achievements based on some claimed systematic favouritism and Inda fans discrediting our achievements. People are free to be inconsistent with their reasoning but I'm not going to participate in that.
could you give me any reasonable and acceptable explanation why modric won the ballon d'or ahead of cr in '18? could you list tons of episodes when dubious calls went against real in crucial situations? i couldn't, and i couldn't.

when it comes to debating with lowlife interisti, i can always list one refereeing error against juventus for every single one they bring up. ffs, even their very best effort (that iuliano "foul" on ronaldo) is a joke, two players ran into each other, how is it a clear foul, let alone a proof for systematic favor. but i wouldn't even try to argue with those who say that real (or barca) usually gets the favorable calls in cl.

for me, the two situations aren't even comparable. barcelona and real are clear uefa darlings for me. change my mind (with facts please, not with that "fif is that way" bs, thanks).

I think the clearest example is when Bayern played in Madrid, that was a game that was impossible for Real to win without multiple favours.

All it shows is that in these matches you need to be more than better, discipline is needed as well. With VAR you at the very least rule out the offside goals, that's the 'easiest gift' to take away from them.

Yep, "fif is that way" is not really an argument, it's just an opinion. There's so much evidence against Farca and RM that everytime one of them attack the other related to the "ref helps", their answer is "well, you get more help"
