People look at hype more than the actual picture..
Facts are (if you take the whole picture and not a single game):
* Tottenham could be better but they seem to have a big problem within them - Maybe its about Eriksen leaving..
* Bayern played very well and Gnabry who I followed since he joined Bayern has really improved and became a really great player but 1 game doesnt mean Bayern are now the team to beat...
* We beat Leverkusen 3-0 yet Leverkusen arent that great and winning 3-0 doesnt mean we are amazing or Sarri>Allegri or some shit.. (We are improving game by game which is what I want to see but we are still not the final version..
We need to take into our considerations we have players who could even force a first 11 spot and we become even better.
Rabiot if he plays more like pre season and less like actual season
Ramsey - I think this guy is key to success as he really understands the game and the team seem to create spaces and provide killer passes better when he is around
Dybala - Well.. Dybala can be our surprise of the season if he continues like that. He is playing very well even if he could score more

Right now if you look at the whole picture (full seasons and not just one game or two) you get this:
Sarri - Got the maximum he could in Italy and then he got the maximum he could with Chelsea (despite not entirely convince in EPL)
Poch - Always overachieved with Tottenham as Tottenham was never 2nd best in EPL and to reach a CL final with Tottenham is a real achievement as there are many teams who are much better!

Anyway even if some like Poch more than Sarri - Right now Sarri is more what we need in terms of playing the ball. This is also why I picked Pep over Klopp when there was a poll of which one you want (I rate Klopp more and I like his style more).

Anyway right now there are some teams who can win the CL:
1. Liverpool - They can definitely retain it and until I see more I consider them the team to beat.
2. Juventus - We are better than Liverpool in terms of players but we still need to keep improving and it might happen
3. Barcelona - Right now they are not exactly CL winner material but you can expect Barcelona to wake up in the future and unless they meet a balanced side with good counters like Juve or Liverpool I can definitely see them going forward.
4. Bayern - Well I must admit I didnt watch much of them this season but a good friend told me they are playing very well and I value his opinion.
5. Real - Right now they are in trouble but I will only strike out Real when Real are actually out - Just look at the trophy cabinet and all these trophies that seemed like not going their way yet they managed to bounce back in time + I expect Zidane to be fired soon so who knows what the next coach will bring..
6. City - I think they are overrated because many appreciate their "Tiki-Taka" more than they should, yet they are definitely a force and they can do it even if I personally not placing my bet on them
7. PSG - The team where everything seem right yet they manage to fail everytime when its crucial. Neymar Mbappe Cavani should be back sometime and now they have Icardi as backup as well..
8. Inter - Nope.. Just joking, I expect them to either qualify as second or crash out and go to the EL (and maybe win there)..
Well, that's an intersting point you got there. But furthermore you have to consider that people look at hype more than the actual picture..

No way, there's VAR now.
Like it matters when it comes to Real. I am still not confident enough that Ramos was not offside last night, and I refuse to believe that there isnt a decent camera on fucking Bernabeu in a CL game to show a simple replay to stop any controversy talk.

Also, like we discussed yesterday, showing two little pics that one cannot be sure they are taken at the exact same moment or with a second or two difference is laughable and stupid. ALSO, those pics were so little that they look like someone deliberatelly cut them off so that Benzema cannot be seen on the first pic the moment he kicks the ball to Ramos.

VAR also is useless in Serie A when the ref has already decided he wants to influence a game and favour a certain team, like we saw in the very first round, when that blonde disgusting midget made his typical dive, ref used VAR and still called that a penalty, even though every single human on planet Earth sees that as a blatant simulation...

That's because they are not heavily suspended if they make a mistake.
If the referees would know that they stand a chance of getting a 10 game suspension they would check everything. If the var referee and that stupid guy who allowed the mertens dive only got 1 game suspension, then they know the consequences of making mistakes are not that great so they can afford to continue to make them if they want to.

Ps. You can say that until now the referees had a tough job with some calls, but now with the exception of some offside calls who can be marginally , they don't have any excuses when it comes to making mistakes.

One thing that can change a lot is if football refereeing becomes a profession, a job and not just a hobby like it is now. If being a ref is your job and main/only income of money then you wouldnt like to fuck up (deliberately or not) and risk getting a ban and/or a fine. Most refs dont even care if they get a suspension or whatever, they still have their regular jobs, they bring money to the family table, everything is fine.

He was onside. Stop with the conspiracies.

Okay, fine by me, dont mean to start or continue with conspiracy theories, also its a meaningless game for me personally so I dont really care if he was offside or not, I would care if it was against Juventus.

However, my point was different, specifically how do YOU know that he was onside? Based on what evidence you judge Ramos to be onside? Because the evidence presented during the game were two separate little pictures/frames, thats not good enough, you cant see the ball in the first one, you cant see Ramos on the second one, terrible explanation for the VAR review and decision. A fair piece of evidence would have been ONE big pic/frame at the exact moment where Benzema hits the ball toward Ramos, and then draw those lines and calculate inches. Showing 2 separate pics instead of just 1 in this particular situation, where the goal was first ruled out, then 5 mins later VAR allows it and presents the two little pictures to back their decision, is not good enough and instead of convincing the fans that their decision is correct it backfires and makes them think of contoversy, injustice and favorable decisions for the bigger club.

My problem here is not the goal itself, its the inadequate actions from the VAR team that bases their decision on two small pics which show absolutely nothing. And if anything, replays tell a different story, some can question the angle of the camera, others can find something else to argue about, but this is way more acceptable as evidence since you can see the whole situation, the pass, the positions of the players, the goal...

Madrid got away with murder in Amsterdam last year even with VAR.
