Inter and Milan fans have been saying for years that this is why Juve is not winning the UCL. "Juve is cheating in Serie A" and cannot do it in UCL. It's a classic excuse.
I see them finding 1000 excuses everytime they want to accuse Juve of cheating, same happens with Real in UCL. The most recent one is "VAR is being used to favor Juve". It's just like what @Cerval said, a phenomenon.
If I were you I'd be pissed with Rodriguez who kicked out the ball when assensio was faking injury. Whenever there was a bit of tempo from bayern, real shivered until the last few minutes where bayern lost believe.
All aside though real deserve credit for how they played, they had their midfielders tracking back and winning balls easily and their front line pressing hard on your defence showed they truly wanted it more. It was still a good effort from your guys considering quite a lot thought you were dead and buried.
I never said one of the call wasn't a penalty. I'm against blaming the referee and saying they work for Madrid. Bayern has to blame themselves if they didn't make it
Saw the replay and I'm probably going to get lynched for this but I'd call that a 50-50 imo. Marcelo perfectly disguised that and he knew what he was doing but with the pace of the ball and Marcelo leg sticking out to me I've seen them given and not given.
With real progressing once again, it just further emphasizes how awesome we were in 2014/15 when we knocked them out. Just a shame that we have nothing to show for it.

Nobody is saying that Referees work for real Madrid but if one side keeps getting favouritism from the referee then there is huge question mark on the competition
