Lol. So much ignorance. Do you even watch Serie A? Tottenham are struggling against mediocre EPL opposition in the "mighty" Premier League. They are currently languishing in 6th place. Admittedly, they defeated the defending champions, but that was a Madrid team still finding its feet early on in the competition. Dortmund have been abysmal this season, so that wasn't really a true test.

I love the arrogance and delusion of EPL fans. Stick to watching cricket Bruh. Obviously, football isn't your thing, especially with an article that looks like it's been pulled out of your "Butt."

I just posted this in response to that cricket loving faggot's article; such a delusional bearded terrorist.

Not only their fans, their journalists and ex players are much worse than their fans.

Btw, Bayern fans, What do you think about Batista Meier? Why don't you play him instead Ribery who adds nothing to your team? l know he is only 16, but amazing talent.

Can we stop fucking acting like this is a tough draw ?

Its a piss easy draw. If we cant get past this, we have no place in the CL this season.
Exactly!

This is the second easiest opponent after Besiktas, on the same level as Liverpool. But I would say Liverpool are more dangerous because if they get lucky and the game goes their way, they can score a lot. We avoided 3 teams that are obviously much stronger, so I'm happy.

If we lose to Tottenham that would be a huge disappointment.

Hi Guys

Just to give you a little info on Tottenham

We are unlike the other so called top 5 sides in the EPL. We work on a very tight budget and don't have a sugar daddy to splash the cash on us like City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool or Arsenal
Transfer trading for the last 5 years will show you what I mean, Net (Purchase less Sales) spend amongst the top 6 is as follows

City £506M or £101m every year on average
United £437m or £87m Every year
Chelsea £192m or £38m Every year
Arsenal £182m or £36m Every year
Liverpool £119m or 24m Every Year
Tottenham £2m or £0.4m Every year

Our Wage budget is also at least half of any of those other 5

So to do what we have done over the few seasons is quite remarkable. Whilst all the time we have been building and paying for our new ground which is going to cost us about £800m, but it will be the best Stadium in Europe.

Our form this season is down to 2 things ...

1. Playing at Wembley, last season at the Old White Hart Lane we were unbeaten, including 4 wins and a draw against the other top 5. Wembley is not our ground and atmosphere is hard to create, strangely enough our 2 best performance against Liverpool and Madrid were in front of over 80,000.

2. Injuries have not been kind to us, Last season we lost Rose, Wanyama and Lamela to long term injuries. Wanyama was probably our player of the season last year and Rose is the best English LB while Lamela is a great inpact playr from the bench. Rose is just coming back and working his way to full match fitness and Lamela has just played 2 brief sub roles, Wanyama is now just started full training. In addition to these we now have Alderweireld (regarded one of the best CB in EPL if not Europe) out since the Madrid game until late January, plus Kane has had injury too. So in all honesty to be where we are is actually fairly good as we don't have other World Class players sitting on our bench like the other 5.

Hopefully the time we play you we will all be fully fit. The team I expect us to play against you would be:-

---------------------------- Lloris ------------------------------

Aurier ---- Sanchez --- Alderweireld --- Vertonghen --- Rose

-------------- Wanyama ---------- Dembele ------------------

------- Eriksen ------------------------------------ Alli --------

------------------------------ Kane -----------------------------

Subs will include the current England Captain Dier, Son, Lamela, Sissoko, Winks (young good player making his way), Llorente.

Are we favourites, probably not as your CL experience is important, but we are away first leg and Wembley will be sold out and Kane will score as he always does, think in 2017 he has netted 50 times now for Club and Country.

Anyway never been to your ground so looking forward to that.

If I can help with any travel ideas in London please feel free to ask

Not here to wind fans up just give a balance on what some of you guys have posted about EPL and Tottenham

PL can be pretty fun to watch sometimes, but it has hardly anything to do with proper football. :boh:

"Can't wait to see the hugely overrated Buffon picking the ball out of the net after Kane's hat-trick."

That kind of attitude reminds me of a certain Joe Hart doing his clowny thing right before the Pirlo penalty... Anyway, the outcome here will be the same, our opponent is new to this competition and while it is true that they have nothing to lose, they dont really have something interesting to show and prove, they have a decent team with decent players, none of them is either special or good enough to start for a top side like the big 4 of Bayern, Juve, Barca, Real... It should be interesting though, a nice preparation for the next round, especially if we draw one from the good english sides.
Where did you see this quote.
