our resident PremLovers, how come Tottenham is doing so shite this season? 28 goals in 16 games, 50% winning record is pretty underwhelming for a team that finished 2nd last season with 86 points @Fred @ALC @Enron @Fresh

Wow those are some delusional comments
Were winning the CL lol..
They beat us on friendlies seriously is that how you assess things?!
come out and attack us - Did they ever watch us play?! Unfortunately we dont attack as much as I would want.. as for Real Madrid its a group stage.. on knockouts Real would have killed them.. Dortmund are perhaps not even 3rd best in Germany...

They have some great players but we shouldnt have too much trouble if our defense play as they do lately..

Who should we want to see in the next round PSG or Real?
PSG 100%. Real need to be knocked out ASAP, they are always dangerous in the knockout rounds.

If you've been watching Tottenham lately, they've began to decline already. Come February I will be confident against them. I really hope we finish second in the groups.
Check this out, posted this on the 2nd December 2017. I somewhat had a feeling we will be drawn against them.

So many comments on social media underestimating us. The premfaces are out in full force :howler:. Somehow we're abysmal this season, but they're just spectacular because they beat Madrid in the group stages and one of the most shambolic Dortmund sides I've ever seen.
This is a Madrid side that has struggled so far this season in both competitions, at least for their usual level.

"Can't wait to see the hugely overrated Buffon picking the ball out of the net after Kane's hat-trick."

That kind of attitude reminds me of a certain Joe Hart doing his clowny thing right before the Pirlo penalty... Anyway, the outcome here will be the same, our opponent is new to this competition and while it is true that they have nothing to lose, they dont really have something interesting to show and prove, they have a decent team with decent players, none of them is either special or good enough to start for a top side like the big 4 of Bayern, Juve, Barca, Real... It should be interesting though, a nice preparation for the next round, especially if we draw one from the good english sides.

Can we stop $#@!ing acting like this is a tough draw ?

Its a piss easy draw. If we cant get past this, we have no place in the CL this season.

100%.

Everything else than a win from this tie should be a huge dissapointment to every Juventino. Apparently some of them are still in shock after the CL final and have lost all confidence in our team.

We are better than Tottenham in every appartment.

You were talking about Liverpool fans and what they believe, no?
In the quotes some Tottenham fans seriously belive they could go on and win the CL, then i said some Liverpool fans probably belive the same even though Liverpools team is average compared to the best.

But okay if you get a 2005 again, who knows :p

- - - Updated - - -

Bunch of ignorant $#@!s in suits hyping up their teams as usual. That's why I despise the EPL and its delusional $#@!$#@! fans.

Wanking each other off, a bunch of $#@! guzzling, sperm gobbling poofters.
:agree:

That guy Paul Merson or whatever his name is :inter: so freaking arrogant

4 reasons Tottenham can beat Juventus in the Champions League

The Champions League draw put Tottenham against the 33-time Serie A Champions Juventus (Its 35 actually, but thanks for trying) . But here are 4 reasons why Spurs should be confident about winning:

1. Juventus are an old side :lol::lol:
This is just a statement of undeniable fact. Juventus are an old time. Yes this means they have a tonne of experience, but sometimes having energy in your legs can mean so much more.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are a young side. Their ideal XI this season has a combined age of 271, averaging out to 25.64. Meanwhile Juventus' ideal XI has a stunning total combined age of 321, averaging out at 29.18. Paulo Dybala is the only regular Juve starter under the age of 25, meanwhile Tottenham only have three regular starters over that age.

Juventus already look like a side that has reached the end of their lifespan, sitting in third place in the Serie A table and recently failing to beat table topping Inter to reclaim the league lead. Meanwhile Tottenham are young and hungry, reading to prove that the Champions League is no country for old man.

2. Tottenham can mix it with the big boys
For the longest time, Tottenham were something of a joke in the big games. Not anymore, though. Mauricio Pochettino has turned Chelsea ?!? into a dynamic slayer of demons.- omg :lol::lol: Last year they stopped the momentum of Manchester City and Chelsea when it seemed like nothing else could, and this season they've taken that skill to Europe. In a group with Borussia Dortmund and two-time defending European Champions Real Madrid, everyone expected Spurs to make the Europa League. Then when they beat Dortmund and Wembley, it was thought they might sneak second. But then they played Real Madrid and across 180 minutes of football were the superior side for probably 140. They drew away, won at home, and then capped it all by beating Dortmund in Germany to seal their spot as group winners.

Totenham are a different animal now. They won't fear Juventus.

3. Juventus struggle against English teams
This is plain and simple; in their last five ties against English teams in Europe, Juventus have been knocked out. That list includes Liverpool, Arsenal, but also Fulham. The Bianconeri aren't great against English sides, and this will give Tottenham a psychological edge over their opponents.

4. Harry Kane is the man
One thing that so often decides big Champions League ties is goalscoring genius. Great goalscorers have often left their mark on the European Cup by performing when their team needs them the most. Tottenham's Harry Kane is one such man. Only Cristiano Ronaldo has more goals than the Englishman in this season's competition, and when compared to Juventus' main goal threats, Kane is streets ahead.

When the big games roll around, Tottenham will be the team with the biggest goal threat on the pitch. A superstar whose goals are capable of settling what could be a tight tie.

Fixed that bit for this guy (or girl).
