How will they fit that in an already congested season. Imagine how prem managers will feel about this. Imagine.

Its after the season ends. It runs from June 10-28

Most likely the league seasons will finish earlier than expected in 2021.

And it involves only 2 prem teams at most.

we should try to win it tbh. its FIFA, so counts as an international trophy
Yes, but if it's between this cup and a points record, we should choose the latter :baus:

I'm surprised there are 3 Italian teams in there.

Another tournament, another saturation of the market. Short term = profit, long term = a weaker product and less demand
Isnt this improving on the possible markets in the lesser football regions ?

Look what Tevez earns. But he's past it.

A big tourney with the actual starts in such regions ? There is significant cash there

But they shouldnt do this each year

The monetary stakes will determine whether clubs take it seriously, or if it's an International Challenge Cup
You get €60M just for participating...

You guys need to read the whole article

Its going to be hosted once every 4 years

Most likely the club world cup is going to be scrapped

The inaugural competition will be invitational , thats why you have teams like Milan, Inter and Ajax in it.

Each club could make potentially 60M off it.

FIFA have made many terrible changes but why is this supposed to be a bad thing ?

This is no shape or form would reduce the prestige of the Champions league. It will continue to reign supreme as the premium club competition.
