Now this is just ridiculous. Vidal at his worst (current Vidal) is still the better player

Sure. Juve players are the best players worldwide. Rating other players high is a crime.
It took you long enough to learn. Now hopefully you don't repeat the same mistakes again

I agree with Ramos being the best defender of his generation, I think it's hard to argue he isn't. He's clearly the integral piece of a very strong Real Madrid and Spain NT back line. Just recently he had a monster performance against Juventus in a CL final where he and his partners physically abused Higuain and Dybala to complete humiliation, both of them lost like every ball played their way in the 2nd half, how many defenders have you seen doing that to those 2?

What is his competition, Bonucci, Chiellini? After this CL final and Spain-Italy 2012 it's hard to take their side in this argument, their mistakes were very costly in those 2 finals. Thiago Silva who spent most of his career in Ligue 1? Kompany who's trophy cabinet is almost empty if you take away Mickey Mouse competitions? Maybe Boateng is worth consideration, but despite being an amazing defender the guy also makes amazingly stupid mistakes and is not the leader Ramos is for club and country

Ramos is a cretin (like most La Liga stars) and not a very elegant defender, but the guy is a monster physically, always shows up in the bigger games and is insanely clutch with his headers, he'd be in the RM starting 11 no matter who they signed.

No fucking way , Vidal most overrated player in history of tuz .
He used to be great , after he got injured he was never the same anymore , he is kinda slow now , Radja is better at almost every part of the game , if he was playing for RM, or even Juve people would praise him way more , dude is fucking beast .

nainggolan is at the top of his game, of course he's better currently than vidal.

top vidal was a different beast, though. goat level couple of years at juve, one of the best midfielders of i've seen.

Are you agreeing or disagreeing? Because Ramos is a completely unlikeable bitch, but he's clearly a world class defender.
I'm agreeing, it's undeniable he has been a top top world class player for a long time. He is incredibly hot tempered and flakey at times, but in general allways been at the top or close to it, a complete player, so to not even have him in top 5 is pure joke.

This is before we even consider he added a massive offensive impact to his game. His late clutch scoring reaches historical levels for a defender. In fact his only competition in this regard past years is Giroud.

WHat's your top 5? I'd probably have in top 3 at this point.

Yeah Ramos is clearly the best defender overall. Barzagli a few years ago was up there too, as was Godin. But Ramos is still better all things considered.
