Because Juventus is struggling to win one CL let alone trying to match the tally of clubs having 3,4 more CL's than Juventus.

Reaching up is irrelevant, as long as we keep the distance between our club and the others to a minimum it makes the club matter more

I don't see why not. Barca had 1 CL title before winning 4 between 2006-2015. All it takes is a great generation or two + VAR.

Roma winning would be the best IMO. I know we wouldn't here the end of it, but Roma is an irrelevant club for us in terms of pedigree, let them have it.

Maybe but i dont see it with Juventus and it wont happen anytime soon with the current generation of Italian players. Our club philosophy is based around winning the domestic league. That is the priority. Unless that changes, we should be really ecstatic if we could win atleast one CL in the near future.

Fair point. And thats the only reason you'd not want teams like Pool to win it but i think our fortunes and reputation as a club depends on if we can win a CL more than other clubs winning it. PSG, City, Chelsea(to a lesser degree) have no European heritage, doesnt stop top players from joining them.

On a serious note though, this Liverpool side is quite good. That attack can hurt any team, so its gonna be tough.
