Madrid are definitely favorites, given their record in finals, and the fact that they're the defending champions; however, they have beaten Valencia, Leverkusen, and ATM (twice) in the finals they have played since they last defeated us with that offside goal of the shitcunt Mijatovic in 98. My point is, the quality of opposition they have defeated to win their titles have hardly been of the caliber of a Bayern, Barcelona, or a Juventus.

You know that Inter is below Milan right now, right? :D
They are tanking to avoid EL lol, besides Pioli loserism. They have much better chance of growth, because they are excellent coach and couple signings away from contending with Napoli And Roma, their squad has good material to work with if you organise it, its mainly their fullbacks and 1 CB thats totally shit. Compared to Milan, where 80% of the squad is utter shit...

:baus: :klin: I'm all about Europe Bro.

But like the man in post #10729 stated, let's win this one first. It's been a long time.
I really think Juventus gonna win this. Not saying to jinx or anything, but you guys been brilliant in Europa this year. Also worth to mention you got a rocksolid defence and a great coach in Allegri. Real got a lot of firepower upfront and in the middle, but their defence will always be vulnerable

Also I said last year that you guys would be one of the favorites to go all the way, and so far I been right in my prediction :D

good luck in the final

Thanks Bro, and congratulations on winning Die Bundesliga :D

Hopefully, we meet you guys next year, and finally win :p It's been a while since we beat Bayern, of all the big teams. Both you and Manchester are due a defeat by us :D

Dont you agree that they are bitches for both clubs? When you look at the results in KO games after the 1998 and 1999 finals
yes, the only time we really "lost" to Madrid was in 2013 in the group stage when we went out. i also remember you guys kicking out United in 2010 after they made 2 consecutive finals and in between them maing a 3rd final in a 4 year span. Rooney was in fantastic form, and Bayern wasnt a powerhouse yet. that late 2-1 goal by Olic and that Robben volley goal :tuttosport:

Lol thats kinda odd coincidence. And also sadly it means we are their bitches not the reverse lol.
if we lose this final, yes. if we win, there is no doubt who is whos bitch. one lucky offside goal is the only thing they would have over us

Oh yeah, now you say it that goal :tuttosport::tuttosport:

Yes back in 2010 we were on the rise back to greatness, before 2010 the last final we played in was 2001.

losing the BL in 2007 and 2009 was a blessing in disguise for you guys. after Stuttgart won in 2007, you bought Ribery, Toni, Klose and Altintop, then after VW won in 2009 you bought Gomez, Olic, Robben. no idea if losing the title was the reason for those buys, but thats the impression i had at that time, and Robebry was born after that

Actually its true. What is youre view on Robbery as players? For me they been one of the best if not best wingers on the same team in football history. Also I think Ribery should have won the Ballon d`Or in 2013, but didnt go so

Both were (Ribery is past it) and is fantastic players. Robben is even just better with age, did you see the goal he scored today vs Leipzig? Crazy shit, cant see the guy is 33 on the pitch

i think both were among the best in their position throughout their careers, no idea why either Madrid or Chelsea let Robben go. also dont know why it took Bilal so long to explode, seeing the talent he has.

its an unpopular opinion, but i think Robben should have been Balon dor in 2010. most people say Sneijder, but his influence on inter wasnt as big as Robbens on Bayern that calendar year. Fiorentina in Ro.16, United in QF and Lyon in SF, all beaten thanks to Robben and his insane goals. if Ribery played in the final i think Bayern would have won even, and now take out Robben from that team, how far do you think they go? DFB Pokal, same thing. semifinal away at Schalke (2nd placed team that season in BL, only one leg is played), extratime he does this right here to get them into the final:

they beat Werder in the final 4-0 and he scored the opening goal (penalty), and maybe assisted for some others as well, cant remember. in the Bundesliga, he won them these games with his goals alone:

these are only games he won by himself, he contributed to some more where others stepped up as well:

and this is only for the 2nd half of the season, so 2010 (as the Balon dor is handed out for the calendar year). Bayern won the BL with only 70 pts (last season for example they had 88 pts), only 5 pts more than runner up Schalke, which tells a lot about the strength of the team at the time, the importance of the goals and assists listed above, and how much Robben meant to them. they almost won a treble, which is incredible. and oh yeah, there was this WC in the summer where Sneijder was the best player and Robben missed half the tournament because of an injury, but he still managed to score in 2 knockout games (2-1 vs Slovakia and 3-2 vs Uruguay).

so yeah, to me he was the best in the world that year, and yes, Ribery should have won in 2013 too. but thats the FIFA Balon dor to you, luckily France Football took it away from them, but its a shame these 2 greats will both retire without winning it once

I fully agree with you. But I think injuries did that the public (the ignorant ones) never really rated a player like Robben that much. I mean.. Real football fans could always see how incredible a player he is. As you said Madrid should never have sold him, if they kept him the year they bought Ronaldo, they would have had the best wingers - without a doubt. Ronaldo in his prime and Robben on the right wing? That would have been deadly, no one could stop that.

Also worth to mention his trademark, its cutting in, but still no one can stop him really.

People might hate him for his diving (im also not a big fan of it, and wish he could stop doing that shit), but FFS he is a fantastic player I also "getraumt" about Robben :tuttosport:

I remember back in 2009/2010 time Ribery was close joining Real Madrid or at least in the media they wanted him. Glad we never sold him. Even though he didnt win his deserved Ballon d`Or in 2013 he still won the best player in Europe though, so he was somehow recognized

i remember reading something about Bayern "promising" Ribery to Real, which was really the reason they got Robben from them, but then when Bayern signed Robben they refused to sell Ribery  no idea if its true but it was hilarious.

about Arjen, youre right about people not liking him, but it wasnt only for his diving, he had a reputation of a "selfish" player, so he often was shooting when there was a player open. thats one of the reasons people didnt rate him as much as some others

Haha lol didnt know that part about bailing Real Madrid but would be fantastic if true :D

Yes he is selfish, but thats also why he sometimes scored those incredible goals - because he got the technic and speed for it
