Monaco played it smart. Resting all their starters, not giving a damn about the cup and focusing on Ligue 1 and Champions league, I think what Jardim did was wise and common sense.

5-0 against PSG (the primary rival for the league) can have a very positive psychological effect for PSG and a negative one for Monaco. It can break the momentum amongst other things. I'd have tried to have a good game at least with some rotation... not throwing it away like that.

So... Who do we want in the final? Honestly Im a bit undecided
Real are winners when it comes to finals and have strong attack but vulnerable defense
Atletico are deadly on the counter and very good in defense - a game vs Atl will be us dominating but might struggle to score while their counters might be problematic

I personally think that a game vs Real is better for us in terms of playing style but Im still undecided about it

I`d be surprised if Real wont get to the finals. Real is so lucky you cant even umagine. when they got 1st real opponent in 1/4 the best player(Lewy) got injured, the best defender(Hummels) 2nd leg lewy and hummels with boateng not fully fit and still needed referee`s help and now Atletico without three defenders and Carrasco... It`s going to Real favour.
