it's true i just watch some champions games from Barca and i don't care about the rest but what I see them doing in champions is something i'd dream we could do.
The day we beat Barcellona will be the day i can say we're an accomplished team.
Even against Bayern in the recent years our best result was a draw.

Just watch the game - Barca did not have a great game, not even a very good game. It was all defensive fuck ups from PSG and the referee. There wasn't any of the usual great combinations or individual brilliance. It may sound ridiculous when the game has ended 6-1 but thats the truth. 9 shots on target, 6 goals..

I seen the angle from.behind and the defender is definitely impeding Suarez. He should have stayed on his feet and scored but as someone already said he played it safe and went to ground.

In reality they actually didn't keep believing. They thought they were out after the Cavani goal which should have been obvious to anyone watching the game. They had lost all hope of qualifying until the Neymar free-kick, it was only after that goal they started believing again.

Are you really questioning the mental strength of Juve? We don't do large deficits.

They only played well because PSG allowed them to play well.

Their game plan was shocking and deserved to go out with with the performance they gave last night.

It's the fear factor that Barca have built up over the years as well as PSG having a small team mentality for the game.

If they approached the game like they did in Paris and pressed their midfield and defence no way Barca could have done what they did.

True, we need to live up to Fino alla fine.

We will get there eventually. The messi and ronaldo era is in its last stages while our stature is groing. I just dont want destabilizing shit like losing allegri or losing key players so allegri takes half a season to find a good game plan again. We need some proper stability of keeping our best players and adding superstars to it and eventually the natural advantage that Madrid and Barca have because of their once in a life time players (Ronaldo and Messi) will shrink. They cant be that much superior offensively forever and their character will decline when super experienced CL winners like Messi, Iniesta etc.. go away.

I think we will win it soon if we stabilize our squad and build on it. Dont switch allegri and dont force him to change playing style by selling core players he takes ages to adapt. We have to win before this generation ends because soon there will be no Gigi, Chiellini, Barzagli, marchisio, Alves etc.. and we will be left with inexperienced players with weak character. Even Higuain will be too old soon. Bayern too have to do it before Robben, Lahm, Alonso and Ribery go away.

Barca's experience in the CL showed clearly against PSG's inexperience even though PSG has great players across their squad and a good coach. You dont get that level of faith in your ability to overturn a huge deficit without having plenty of CL winning experience against top teams (and talent ofc).

I think only Bayern (an ancelotti machine with lots of experience) can stop this barca now with this win. They might even over take Madrid in the league. Madrid players will be watching that match and thinking fffffuuuuuuuckkk this will be a long run in to the league title.

Not really. I mean, PSG have only themselves to blame. The fact Emery even dares to speak of the ref is mindboggling.

But, at the same time I don't believe Barca would have won it without that penalty. And you're right. It's only one of six goals. But they needed all six.

That is just bullshit. The reason we very rarely see comebacks from 4-0 down is because teams that lose 4-0 are usually vastly inferior to their opponents. With Barca this wasn't the case.

We don't know if they really believed they would qualify but they had nothing to lose and they had to do their best to at least win 3-1 or 4-1 to compensate for the embarrassing loss. Any serious team would be motivated in a situation like this, plus the game started really well for them with a fluke goal in the 3rd minute.

On the other hand what is really hard and rare to see, is a team that remains composed when their lead is melting away. Any team in the world plays better when they are 4-3 down after being 4-0 down, than when they're 4-3 up after being 4-0 up. There are so many examples of great teams and great managers fucking up like that, even against inferior opposition and Barca are not inferior to PSG.

Instead reciting the cliches, how much balls it takes to go out and do your best when you have nothing to lose, think a little bit and you'll know it takes a lot more balls to hold off a 4-3 lead for 45mins after having been 4-0 up. That's just the way human psychology works.

I meant in the last 10 minutes or lets say 15 for the sake of it. Them goals were midway through the second half. Of course we are capable of a comeback we do it often. Every team does it, but what i meant is when your under huge pressure in the last quater of the game.

I agree with hist on that other teams do this primarily down to two reasons.

1) Tempo
2) Hostile Atmosphere

We have improved our tempo but I think we would struggle.
