In the past 20years have we ever scored more than thrice in a single game? if we were in Barca shoes we would have never passed nor tried.
Iniesta-Bousquests-Rakitic > Khedira-Marchisio-Pjanic and by a large margin
Well, we wouldn't have allowed 4 goals in the first leg.

Also, Busquets has been exposed this season, he's not the player he once was. Rakitic has been underwhelming the whole season, and Iniesta is not as good anymore although he does make shit happen.

They are a very vulnerable team defensively.

Busquets  This season he has been almost as bad as Sturaro. Again, it's clear you don't watch much Barca this year. Rakitic has been extremely average too. You Italian fans are clueless it seems.
it's true i just watch some champions games from Barca and i don't care about the rest but what I see them doing in champions is something i'd dream we could do.
The day we beat Barcellona will be the day i can say we're an accomplished team.
Even against Bayern in the recent years our best result was a draw.
I'm just depressed we lost the best midfield in Europe and believing that we can win against the likes of Bayern and Barca sound much like a huge joke

All in all i just want this Real-Barca era to end. Football unless you are a fans of those 2 teams has been depressing.

Then you should be excited about this season.

Real Madrid and Barcelona both look vulnerable, especially the latter.

Lol British media calling it the greatest comeback with even 5 live putting it above 99. Talksport, reluctant to call it greatest comeback ever. You're not so great now are you! the sun took a hit in their pride by calling it the greatest come back ever. While, daily fail questioned it. Either way I'm loving it when they bring up the discussion to 99 and the night in Istanbul. For years they've justified how great English are with their comebacks they are and now someone else has done one better.

i hope they get bayern.
guys do you really think that uefa would allow a quarters where Real-Atletico and Barca-Bayern meets a elite opponet?
If we pass through Porto i wish we could face Atletico.
Just to see if they go full catenaccio like last time we met them in Madrid

Finally someone not oozing with bitterness.

People find it annoying how everyone blames The reff when they lose to us, but somehow use The same arguments in tonights game. Fickle bunch. Pathetic really
If we're talking about blame, PSG and Emery are responsible for making this happen.

But the fact remains that many dubious calls went Barcelona's way. And to give a completely fictional penalty two minutes before the end, when you know Barcelona need two more goals.. Well, do you think Barcelona would have won it without it? I don't think so.

Yes suarez will just fall with no contact with a great scoring position, I honestly have no idea why I'm still responding to you, good night
Suarez knew that was a very difficult shot to take and he did just fall over for nothing. There's no way that 5th goal was ever a penalty and even Suarez himself knows as much.

I want us to get Barcelona. If we get them in the final, we're fucked. Way too marketable and in a one off game anything goes. They'd just need one penalty or one red card at the right time. We're the stronger team by a mile though, so over two legs I'm fairly confident we'd go through.

Btw as much as I'm disgusted with a lot of this, last night did confirm for me that Neymar is currently the best player in the world. That man's will to win... Dear God. People always like to talk about Ronaldo and Messi as chokers.. Well, this guy is the opposite. Always delivers.

I think final comebacks will always hold a bit more weight because of the occasion, but this was a big one in its own right. The only scoreline Barcelona could really win with was 6-1 and it happened. Sometimes everything just goes right in a game, but you have to have the right attitude and aggressiveness to do it. That was pretty much the pinnacle performance a club team could achieve, other than conceding the goal. What makes the United and Liverpool comebacks different is that neither side should have won those games because they didn't play well enough to, but they were a one-off knockout and not two legs.

This isnt about personal agenda or duels between the big clubs but about progressing and improving our chances of winning it. Stating the obvious, but our best chances will be hopefully facing another poor team. We escaped with porto and long may it continue so hopefully in this order.

Leicester
Leverkusen
Monaco
Sevilla
Dortmund
City
Atletico
Real
Barca
Bayern

Nah, we are getting Real, Barca or Bayern next round (if we beat Porto)

Thats a fair assessment but when you break it down to 3 goals in the last 7 minutes then its really something. I mean with liverpoo they scored 3 in 45, while union did 2 goals in 3? i think it was.

Oh I just wish we win it once again before i turn 30. Last time i was 6 years old.
Exactly, i mean fuck the clubs who win it often but 21 years is a long wait. Too long. The longer it takes, the harder it will get. Id be curious to see which historically elite club has waited the longest to win it again.

Say what you want about the second penalty, it takes insane massive balls to keep believing you can do it and scoring 5-6 goals against a tough team after being battered 3 weeks before .

No other team would have kept believing let alone pull it off no matter the luck on their side

How I wish jive had that kind of attitude, attacking power and fear factor that star studded teams can shit themselves while facing us despite an insanely large lead.

How are we stronger by a mile?
