So when's the draw?
Hope we get Arsenal. I've craving Arsenals tears for the longest time, I hope the tie goes like exactly like it went down vs Sevilla during the group stage. Ugly play, lots of scandals and tears, and above all an underserved win that would make them quit on life.

Might it be better for us to finish as runners up in our group? Bayern, Real Madrid, City, and Arsenal are all looking like potential opponents if we manage to win our group. If we finish 2'nd we might end up getting Leicester, Benfica, Monaco, PSG, and possibly Dortmund. The only real risk would be drawing Barca. ATM are potentially a dangerous opponent. We did reach the final in 2015 after finishing runners up in our group.

This kind of motivational BS is of secondary importance to our actual prospects in the draw should we finish first. I'm just saying that a 2nd place finish might not be all that bad.
Of course second place wouldnt be that bad. However no matter what a top team (which we aim to be and are) should always aim for first and not bother themselves with those around them. Being happy for a second place finish due to an easier draw would be such an Arsenal/Napolish thing to do.

I don't think drawing City or Arsenal would be better than PSG or Dortmund. Bayern and Real also are not worse then Bayern and Atletico Madrid, it's pretty balanced, both ways you could have a relatively easy opponent or run into trouble
