Yeah I don't see any reason why we couldn't win it. It's very difficult to win it for any club no different for us but we are definitely one of the best equipped to do so.

disagree with him that we (or Bayern) are behind Barca and Real though. i hope both clubs prove it this season by kicking the spanish duo out

lmfao
They are a level above. The Spanish duo won 4 of the last 5 CLs no? That's how they prove their supremacy, not by talking about how closer you get or how as good as we are as them without proving it. They are the top dogs for a reason. Real hasn't done it by completely dominating exactly like when Barca or Bayern won theirs, but the extreme quality of their players and the fact they have 2 CLs in last 3 shows their supremacy.

yeah no denying their dominance. i was just comparing the current squads and dont see them as stronger overall. depending on injury status at the time we would face them, id definitely give us equal chances to beat them, especially as i expect the team to peak again February-May like they did last season

Juventus have a great chance of winning the CL this year imo. Buffon is a fantastic goalkeeper, youre defence is stronger than last year and with more depth. The midfield lost quality with Pogba leaving, but i dont see it as that bad because Pjanic got into replacing him allthough i know they can´t be compared really. In attack youre also stronger with Higuain who is a deadly striker.

I would put my money for Juve reaching at least the SF, youre squad is on pair with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid. I dont fear Real Madrid that much to be honest. They got so lucky in last years CL draws it was a disgrace which reminded of corruption. But okay, the winner allways got the last word.

Barcelona is all about theyre deadly trio upfront. Theyre defence is the weakest of all this 4 teams, but at the same time they have the best offensive. Hard to say about them really.

When it comes to Bayern Munich i also expect us to reach at least the SF again this year, we have the "culture" for it, the players and the coach. Ancelotti is a huge upgrade from Guardiola in CL knockout games.

Maybe a Bayern Munich - Juventus final? Who knows. If Bayern Munich goes out, then i hope you will go the whole way.

You're a blind optimist. That's what everyone who thinks Juve has a change of winning it are.

Its a little sad with Juventus and Bayern Munich in some of those CL finals. Both have been the favorites and played best, but still loosing. Bayern Munich have been in 10 CL finals, and Juventus in 8, that just shows how massive this two clubs are in terms of history.

By justice both clubs should have won least 1-2 more. The 1999 final and the 2012 i will never get over them.

:agree: Some of our fans just need to realize where we are as a club at the moment. I think it might be the dark years that are still weighing in someones minds and they remain pessimistic because of that.
A CL final is allways hard, but for sure Juventus can do it. Everything just need to click to win a CL title, no major injuries, players who peak at the right moment, luck and also class offcourse.

Juve and Bayern are only behind Real history wise, those 3 are the greatest clubs in the world. i dont consider Barca as one, they arent even ahead of Milan.

Thats also how i see it. Sadly enough a lot ignorant fans think otherwise.

What do you think of Juve' midfield? Does it rank with the top 3 teams?
Yeah i would say so, if its in strongest formation. I think all those 4 clubs are pretty much even.

Glad we agree and also glad non Juve fans finally see us as a top CL favorite again, if some of our own fans cant acknowledge that

Youre welcome mate, and sure Juve will have a good chance this year. Its also nice to hear when fans from another club praise/acknowledge Bayern Munichs giant history. Often people only talk about (Real Madrid, which is deserved), Manchester United, Barcelona but they completly forget that Juventus, Bayern Munich and Milan have a greater history than those except for Real Madrid. Its often younger fans though, or just some ignorant fools.

Even Liverpool got a bigger history than United and Barcelona imo. All though I dont think they should be counted in the company with the biggest clubs today, because its to many years ago since they won a league title.
