They are a level above. The Spanish duo won 4 of the last 5 CLs no? That's how they prove their supremacy, not by talking about how closer you get or how as good as we are as them without proving it. They are the top dogs for a reason. Real hasn't done it by completely dominating exactly like when Barca or Bayern won theirs, but the extreme quality of their players and the fact they have 2 CLs in last 3 shows their supremacy.

Please, Real only won because the other teams weren't as strong as usual and not to mention how easy their knockout draw last season. If Barca or Bayern were on form they wouldn't have won. An in form Barca is the only team I would think we shouldn't get too optimistic about, not that we couldn't beat them but less of a chance.

I do agree with this.

Barca look scary this season particularly because their depth options are sorted and their forwards will get adequate rest now.

I also give a better chance for us to beat Bayern with Carlo than with Pep.

We beat his ass in the semi-finals a couple of years ago.
Carlo fears Juventus :agree:

Juventus have a great chance of winning the CL this year imo. Buffon is a fantastic goalkeeper, youre defence is stronger than last year and with more depth. The midfield lost quality with Pogba leaving, but i dont see it as that bad because Pjanic got into replacing him allthough i know they can´t be compared really. In attack youre also stronger with Higuain who is a deadly striker.

I would put my money for Juve reaching at least the SF, youre squad is on pair with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid. I dont fear Real Madrid that much to be honest. They got so lucky in last years CL draws it was a disgrace which reminded of corruption. But okay, the winner allways got the last word.

Barcelona is all about theyre deadly trio upfront. Theyre defence is the weakest of all this 4 teams, but at the same time they have the best offensive. Hard to say about them really.

When it comes to Bayern Munich i also expect us to reach at least the SF again this year, we have the "culture" for it, the players and the coach. Ancelotti is a huge upgrade from Guardiola in CL knockout games.

Maybe a Bayern Munich - Juventus final? Who knows. If Bayern Munich goes out, then i hope you will go the whole way.
It's always nice to hear another team supporter praise Juve.
But seriously those 4 shouldn't take lightly, Atletico, PSG, and maybe Manchester City too. Especially Atletico, they're really cohesive, and always challenging Barca and Real hegemony both in Spain, and in CL.
CL full with surprise afterall.

Ok I'll be content with a semi-final and if we can't win it let Barca win it because that will give us a better chance the next year (no team wins it twice in a row)..Barca are the only team that we can't beat if the refs are good and we don't have an injury crisis similar to the one we had last year

pls, it was one game two years ago and half of our team has changed since then, they definitely are a top top team, but we are capable of beating them without referee help for sure. If anything, Bayern is a bigger obstacle for us recently

I actually think we can beat an inform barca now. In the final a year ago, I was praying that Tevez, Morata, Pogba and Vidal had the games of their lives. Unfortunately Vidal sucked, and Pogba and Tevez didn't do much.

Now we have 2 very capable wingbacks offensively and defensively, a dybala, a higuain (who I hope lives up to the price), and a much more creative player than Pogba in Pjanic.

Basically now we can hurt them whenever we get the ball instead of praying that we properly initiate a counter with Tevez and Morata.

We still need to be on top of our game though bcuz... They still have MSN lol
