I'm afraid tbh, very tough group for us, all of the teams will have no illusions about our strength and will fight tooth and nail, usually we fail against the Galatasarays and Copenhagens in the CL, this group consists only of those kind of strong mid level teams. Also, the possibility of facing a top opponent no earlier than February 2017 is worrying, Serie A is underwhelming this year and the teams we'll face in CL knock outs will be very different to those we will be used to playing week in week out.
Man, some people are never satisfied.

Still not sure if he's trolling. This is one of the weakest groups we've been handed in the last decade. We should comfortably progress.
Last year in a group of Man City, Seville and Mönchengladbach who do we struggle against, Man City? No, 3/6 from Seville and 2/6 from Mönchengladbach. Year before we we lose against fucking Olympiacos. 13/14 we play terrible against both Kobenhavn and Galatasaray, top it off by losing to Benfica in EL playoffs. 12/13 we scrape past Shakhtar, managing to draw against Nordsjaelland in the process. I won't go further, but the fact is, whenever we get to play Chelsea, Real Madrid, Atletico or Man City in the groups we step up and bring our best game, yes we didn't get many points against the Spanish but at least we showed up. When I look at our group this year I see only trouble, my prediction is it will be hard as fuck.

Normally I wouldn't say but I have a feeling we will top the group. There is seriously no reason why we shouldn't. The team is just that much stronger than every squad from the past 4-5 years.

I had the exact same thoughts, it's the nature of the three teams which are very similar, that we mostly suffer against. I have never ever seen a Juve side that knows how to handle these kinds of teams and this time we got three of them.

Who remembers that season? We weren't able to win until the very last day, we had 5 draws against teams very similar to those we got this time around. In the end we topped the group because the other teams lost a lot of points against each other. We also left it late. So I totally understand where @pitbull is coming from.

I remember this, but that Juve struggled throughout entire season, we finished 7th in the end and didn't even qualify for the next CL. This is probably one of the strongest squads we've had in the last 10 years and we've grown so much in terms of mentality over the last couple of seasons.

Extremely confident of Juve winning the group, not just because of the strength of the other teams in the group but because of the quality of Juve's strikers.

While we won the first match and without mentioning the problems we had, we have almost a new squad again this season and we have absolutely no idea how soon they will start producing well together. On paper the team is amazing but we have to show this strength on the field.

Watch us top the group and in the next round get the strongest possible opponent anyway. So Juve in CL :touched:

Champions League: Europe's top four leagues to each get four group-stage spots

Europe's top four domestic leagues - England, Germany, Italy and Spain - are to be guaranteed four places each in the group stages of the Champions League from the 2018-19 season.

Under the current system, England, Germany and Spain have three places each while their fourth-placed teams must contest a play-off over two legs for a place in the group phase.

Italy has only two guaranteed places, plus one in the play-off round.

More to follow.

"Boost for PL". Boost for everyone outside of Spain, I bet the Milan trannies were the two biggest lobbyists of this.

Seems that Agnelli, Rummenigge and Gandini were the ones pushing very hard for this.

This is some way in appeasing the Spanish, German and Italian clubs from getting itchy feet and creating a Super League.
Yup, plus it's gonna bring thrm more money, because let's face it, more people are gonna watch Roma vs Arsenal than Basel vs Kopenhagen.
