By that logic they shouldnt start their key players then in these games. Carrasco got injured btw.

I don't know if they are starting their key players or not, but I know that they probably lack motivation to perform in La Liga, since the best they can hope for is 3rd place, and the worst is gonna be 4th. Carrasco getting injured is good news for us, I guess.

They want a top 3 to avoid CL playoffs, which is far from certain for them.
They will probably do just enough to finish 3rd, and go all out in the CL.

We didn't have a midweek game like Madrid and Monaco. We only have the game on Friday so we are in completely different situation compared to those two. There is no need to rotate.

But shouldn't that be more of a reason to rotate? :boh:

Edit: ignore me they play on Saturday.

I very much doubt that they dont care, why would Simeone bother to get banned then? And again, rotate your key players then.

Carrasco plays for Atletico, not Monaco.
I was thinking ahead, in case of a final confrontation against ATM :D

I think its hardly news, without Carrasco otll be harder for them to eliminate Real or beat us in the final, so its both positive and negative, but the guy is hardly a world beater, its mot like Griezmann is out

Monaco played it smart. Resting all their starters, not giving a damn about the cup and focusing on Ligue 1 and Champions league, I think what Jardim did was wise and common sense.
And in the end it was a great season for them, great action until may, but no titles. And he will be thinking: "Fuck, i should have gone for this fucking cup!" :hihi:

He doesn't have the luxury of a large squad at his disposal though. This really was the only option he had in front of him.
