It's not supernatural, just their mentality is different when they participate in the CL than clubs like Roma or Napoli. They have 7 CLs ffs, ofc they'd fare better than Napoli or Roma on 99% of occasions. Nothing is for certain but they do seem to do well even when they seem to have a bad season!
