everyone in the gym was about how madrid scored nice goals

I was consistantly palming the face at such poor defending, what was that shit

Also, it might be cause i'm used to Buffon, but 1-0 and 3-1 was terrible goalkeeper positionning. Gigi isnt having any of that

There's still a lot af fans behind Wenger.
I'd like to know who they are and why. When Paul Merson himself says that in his playing days Harry Rednapp was better tactically than wenger you begin to wonder how he's even lasted this long at one club and would explain why he has won nothing major in years (not even talking about the fa cup)

They've been shitting all over the fans for at least five years now.
long may it continue, they don't deserve any better

He could? I spend too much time looking at this forum, then
He just doesn't look as influental as he used to be.
He looked sluggish and involved at first, but his end product improved as game went on, not in shooting himself, but he created 3 clear chances, 1 of them was scored on.

The biggiest joke in Real team tonight was Marcelo, dont know what he was on, erratic in possession, mishandling the ball and then laughing about it, good thing they were leading and Napoli were too shook to go at him more.

ADL before the game :
- I am a peasant fart that thinks Mertens is more suited for napoli as a #9 than Higuain

ADL after seeing Mertens fail in a grotesque way and fumble chances that Higuain would score:
- Milik is injured and sarri doesnt rotate the team

Marcelo was absolutely awful.

Nowdays Wenger more than a manager/coach is more like a marketing figure to exploit.
All these years at Arsenal made him a myth like figure kinda like Fergun which helps the fanbase expand globally.
No other reason to keep a loser for over 20years. Which spent the last 10years winning nothing

The ones praising the playing style are still there and they don't think another coach will be for the better. Even though I'm not one of Wenger's biggest fans, I think they got a point. Arsenal have to change the way they run the club, but I don't see any indication they'll do that.

Mertens didn't fail. None of Napoli's offensive players did.

So many times, madrid had their fullbacks committing deep up front. Napoli never capitalised. When they regained possession, barely a player went forward.

It was a big contrast with yesterday, where Cavani pressed the backline like a madman and covered stupid amounts of ground, while Di Maria and Draxxler pushed very high up the field at each opportunity they had, punishing Barcelona's cm, and making their fullbacks stay deeper, troubeling the midfield further.

Napoli failed so hard. Marcelo and Carvajal could walk towards Napoli's D line, and could jog back cause the cb's+casimero would close down any counter as it was usually 1 player without proper backup

They should always have been able to trouble madrid when retaining possession. Instead, they tried some idiotic short quick one touch combinations for which they dont have the required technical ability.

If you're referring to him laughing towards the end of the game, that was because he was completely surprisee by Callejon's dummy. They were both joking about it.

And Marcelo is just Marcelo, he has these games.

Zach, how do you manage to sleep early if you go to the gym kinda late at night?

I always struggle to sleep early if I hit the gym at 10 pm.

Napoli completely failed as a team. Mertens was completely domminated. They barely strung 3 passes togheter. They barely created a counter.

It was a complete and utter failure.

Its fine.

Mertens is 5 levels below cavani, Di Maria shits on all napoli's forwards, and draxler was suprisingly good yesterday

Lol. You can hate on Napoli all you want, but Real had 20 good minutes during the game, which would be the second part of the first half.

Other than that I thought Real were poor.
Maybe next time also pay attention to the opponents of Real and not just them. Napoli completely went missing after an initial good start. Real took over and could and should scored more, they schooled Napoli.

Damn  I didn't notice him create the other two chances.
I just feel like it could have been someone else, playing in his position, and the outcome would've been similar.
I guess I'm doing what people do with Buffon, because of the ridicolous high bar they've set.

Your hate towards Belgian players is getting really old.

Offensively they had to get a goal. They did just that. Mertens, Insigne and Callejon performed their part of the deal.

He is kinda boring in general play so its not hard to not kinda forget about him, and as you said he is the kind of caliber player we only take notice of when he does the ridicolous and supreme look easy in pure effectivness.

Real didn't school anyone. They capitalized on Napoli's mistake. If they play like this when facing us, we're absolutely murdering them.
