And they still dominated the match. If both teams finished their "good chances", the score would have been about 7-3 for Madrid.

I'd hate to see how badly they would annihilate Napoli if they played well 2:
That's why I said they are clinical. Real wait for Napoli to make a mistake and then pounce. It's a good strategy, especially against a naive team, but it's not really as if they dominated the game.

If Real play this way against us, we'd wipe the floor with them.

Yeah, Napoli could have scored three as well. Not to mention the fact that it was usually Napoli that got themselves in trouble, hardly a Real that was all that great.

No, if Napoli had an ounce of the common sense our team has, they would have very good chances against this Real team and I think they could have won this game.
You're completely ignoring the fact that Napoli only created 3 good chances in the entire match. And Madrid created about 12 good chances.

You are also ignoring the fact that Napoli only has such a good attack because they play completely unbalanced football leaving themselves very wide open at the back. There is a reason Napoli has allowed 10 more goals than us in Serie A.

Three? I saw one big chance besides the goal, but it doesn't change the fact that Real created a lot more big chances just like Napoli's chance.

They did. But they didn't dominate the game at all. Napoli are simply naive and clearly not used to games as big as this one.

Real's style has a major downside though. If they go 2-0 down at Napoli they'd have to suddenly turn up the engine and they wouldn't be able to. That's why everything is still open imo.

Just gonna quickly pop in and say

GRAZIE MADRID :delpiero: They could and should have made it 5 or 6. But they will still knock those filthy scum out so all is good

And Arsenal ::lol3:: Need I say more? Pathetic and embarrassing. I can't wait for Arsenal Fan TV now.

"What a sack of shit."

"Pathetic"

"Suits Arsenal and Wenger perfectly"

"Wouldn't want us to sign him even if he was free. Coward!"

"just another day in the office for the little magician" ::lol3::

"He just doesn't have the balls. But Wenger doesn't understand"

"Not even as mentally strong as Jean from eastenders"

"Truly the next invisible Wenger produced"

"I've never liked Ozil, there's just something about him that makes me think he doesn't really care"

"Lost count how many times I've said this about him but yet another 'pathetic' performance. It's embarrassing this guy picks up a pay check."

"Great disappearing act from the German magician again tonight"

"Lazy as feck. Arsenal really shouldn't be giving this waster a new contract"

Despite winning the CL twice in recent years they just aren't that impressive of a team. I am confident we are much better.
I feel exactly the opposite this year. I think they look more like a unit this year (despite playing a bit bad). They didn't impress me at all last season and, imo, they only won The CL, because of a laughable easy way to the final.

OT but: what was our biggest CL defeat in recent years? I can't remember us ever losing by such big margins as these other loser clubs
Bayern, but that was extra time and don't think it shoul count in the same way.

Well, I agree with them looking more like a unit. And unfortunately I'd say we look less like on this year. But at least we've actually played a couple of decent games. Defensively I think we're a lot better as well. And besides, when we play Real we usually win anyway.
