We judge ourselves and others by current form, but things will be completely different come March, so a draw that may seem favorable or less so right now, could appear completely different in March.
Yes, and maybe not in our favour - see Bayern, PSG for example. It's true that we will probably be much improved in terms of tempo and performances, who really knows when it comes to injuries.

I think this current Juve with its form would really struggle against Real Madrid. If there's one team to avoid, it would be them.

My preference from easiest to toughest.

Benfica
Porto
Leverkusen
PSG
Bayern
City
Madrid
:sergio: Seriously?!
Benfica Porto Leverkusen is debatable but there is no way Bayern are not stronger than City!

IMO
from easiest to toughest
Benfica on par with Porto and Leverkusen
PSG on par with City
Bayern just because they havent found their scary rhythem yet
Real

I'd avoid games against the oil clubs, they're not exciting enough. I'd go as far as taking Benfica over them. Perhaps I could accept PSG, but only to piss off their fans

4. PSG
5. Porto
6. Benfica

Pretty similar. Don't understand why everyone rates Porto higher than Benfica though. Benfica has done much better in Europe in recent history and has dominated their league for a few years as well.

But Porto finished 2nd in a group with Leicester, Kobenhavn and someone else very weak, forgot who. Theyre also behind Benfica in the league
There is no logical reason to rate Porto higher than Benfica.

Order of preference:

1.) Porto
2.) Benfica
3.) Leverkusen
4.) PSG
5.) City
6.) Real
7.) Bayern

I want to avoid Bayern at all costs. I'm sure Ancelotti will have them firing on all cylinders sooner rather than later, and they have a very solid squad, with a lot of weapons that can hurt us. They are a formidable opponent, and it would be nice to have them facing off against Barca in the next round, while Real draw someone like Arsenal. City can get ATM or Dortmund, and I wouldn't mind a game vs PSG. Sevilla vs Napoli could be an interesting fixture.
