If we got Hamsik he'd still be loaned out to FC Ulan Bator now. Probably good thing (for him) we didn't buy him.
And yet against Livorno (?) we had Marchisio, Giovinco, De Ceglie and Marrone on the pitch.

When will you understand that you can't keep all the youngsters in the team?

Oh, and what about this:

Alberto Botía - Sporting Gijón (20 yo)
Martín Cáceres - Juventus (22 yo)
Henrique - Racing Santander (22 yo)
Víctor Sánchez - Xerez (22 yo)
Aliaksandr Hleb - Stuttgart (28 yo)
Keirrison - Benfica (20 yo)

Guess who owns these players?

All those players probably won't have much of a future with Barca. That's why they haven't loaned Bojan and players such as Jeffren. They keep their most talented boys because they're a smart club when it comes to this matter.

I realize that you can't keep everybody, but loaning everybody is IN MY OPINION... dumb.

But you voted Cassano, ftw? :p
I thought this vote is for who is the better player now, not which one will become the best.

Anyway if it were up to my preference I would still pick Cassano, because I just like how he plays, his style of play, pure magic :)

While if I were to pick which one Juve would sign I think I would go with Jovetic, since he is very young and has a lot of potential and IMO he can be very good, maybe as good as Cassano or even better. And if he stays on the right track would work hard and reaches his potential he would be more economical investment in the long run then Cassano.

Although Cassano is indeed ftw :)

Try Giovinco as a striker sometimes. See how he works there but if it doesn't work then pay that release fee that Viola ask for Jovetic cuz it's obvious that this guy will be a world class player.

But Barca paid 16 million euro for Caceres, 8 million for Henrique and 14 million for Keirrison (this summer!).
Why would they pay 14 million for Keirrison in July if they don't count on him and then in August loan him to Benfica?

Maybe because he's a talent that they count on in the future but since there is absolutely no space for him right now they first loan him out in order to get regular playing time?
Like we did with Marchisio, De Ceglie and Giovinco? And like we might do with Iago, Daud etc.

As far as i know, Ariaudo and Marrone weren't loaned out and they're still here. Marrone is getting some playing time, but what about Ariaudo?
Why did we keep him if he won't be getting playing time?
Because getting the experience in training will be valuable for him, i guess? He can learn from the other more experienced defenders?

But i thought we were laughing together when people said that Cannavaro can teach the youngsters?

So i guess Ariaudo can't learn anything and he was going to be better off if he went to Cagliari or Bari or wherever, and actually play?

I have seen the 2nd half of Fiorentina vs Liverpool and I can see how Jovetic is a great player at Fiorentina but I still don`t see him as the player who would do us wonders (Maybe in the future but not right now)
Cassano is a player that can however I rather have someone else than both
Still waiting for us to find DP`s successor

Caceres was probably deemed as a mistake by Barca, and you know that. Keirrison has the best chance of the lot to it through eventually, even though I do believe he is overrated from what I've seen. Hleb shouldn't even be counted.

Marchisio is seriously the ONLY loan that has worked out thus far. I think loaning Giovinco was a major mistake, along with what Ranieri did with him, because it's obvious he found his place in the team a bit too late. And hey, you YOURSELF has claimed that DC isn't any good and shouldn't play, so don't include him as some sort of LOAN VICTORIOUS !!

As for keeping Marrone, I'm certainly glad to see that he stayed, but he'll probably get loaned eventually. They all do. We tried to deal Ariaudo away as well. Iago is having a FANTASTIC loan experience with Bari, training with their youth team.

With regard to Hamsik, you know full-well he would have been loaned if we purchased him after Serie B. Don't kid yourself, Alen.

My theory regarding this matter is that I'd rather oversee my players at all times as a coach instead of laying that job off to a third party. It's like outsourcing in business. Sure, you take some of the load off yourself, but you don't always know if what you're getting back is up to your standards -- especially in football.

If you want something done right, do it yourself. It's as if other clubs thoroughly care about the development of our own players. :rolleyes2

They wanted to loan Bojan but he wouldn't go on loan. Please stop with this loan player issue nonsense. If our young players are not good enough they will not make it, if they are good enough but cannot get a game ahead of established stars then they may as well go on loan and then we can see if they are good enough to play at the top level.

Perhaps that would be most fitting for you, because I don't care to talk with people who call stuff nonsense, then don't refute my arguments. Give it a try.
