Would I rather have Mutu or Cassano in his place? No, I'm sentimental , I'd rather have him than swap him for someone a bit better as long as he's still up to it.
I dunno why, it just doesnt sound right coming from you. Always felt pragmatic fits you better than sentimental? :p

yep me 2

sorry nicole :D

and intul now you cant compare cassano to delpiero .
at the age as antonio delpiero did everything and more.
won everything on Club football and probally deserfed the golden ball(they were thinking delpiero get his change no worry )
but they had to give the ball to him because look at his career he deserf that ball on his trophy wall

so intul now Delpiero over cassano

if cassano joins Juventus wins the champions leageu more dan once wins the scudetto more than 6time's and win the wordlcup with italy than we can talk again ;)
To be honest, I really can see Cassano lifting the Ballon D'Or at Juve.
At the same time, I believe this about Ibra also..it all comes down to realising potential doesn't it?

i can see it 2
but i also thinks Delpiero deserfed the ballon d'ore in his career
and if cassano stays with roma than he will never lift the golden ball.
if a player like totti dident do that at roma than cassano 100%not.
if totti would play at juventus he would have enoughe vote's to lift the ball in 4game's

I'm just going to say one, probably irrelevant thing about this:
whoever thinks Mutu is fat, should take a good look at Cassano. They're both fat bastards.

Ooh yes, the authorities are against your team.
But also your players and your directors (porco sensi). And of course, also many of the supposed Roma tifosi are against the team.
As a matter of fact, being a Roma fan probably is one of the most senseless, masochistic and painful activities you can find in Italy....

    But it was your choice.....

Juventus are due to meet up with Roma next week, with Antonio Cassano's future likely to be high on the agenda.

Cassano has still to sign a contract extension in the Italian capital and the delay has fuelled talk he will be sold in the summer.

The temperamental attacker has 12 months remaining on his present deal but Roma will not countenance losing Cassano for nothing.

To that end, they will be prepared to sell the schemer if they are unable to persuade Cassano to sign an extension.

Serie A champions Juventus have long been mooted as favourites to land Cassano, who worked with Old Lady coach Fabio Capello at Stadio Olimpico.

Turin officials are expected to hold a meeting with their Roma counterparts next week, particularly now the capital club have solved their coaching dilemma after appointing Luciano Spalletti.

"We have a good relationship with Roma," said Juve general manager Luciano Moggi.

"It was useless to meet in the past few days due to the fact they hadn't chosen their new coach.

"We will meet next week when we could discuss, with calm, a few things."

Reports claim Juve have offered €15 million for Cassano, while they could throw in Adrian Mutu or Fabrizio Miccoli as a makeweight in the deal.

A Cassano-Ibrahimovic tandem would simply be the best attacking duo in the world, talent wise at least.

Yes, the kid is a hothead, but he's a football genius, full stop exclamation mark.

Juve (or Milan : we need him more than Gilardino) is the right team for him, because if he stays at Roma I have a feeling he'll end up like Maradona.

Spalletti: I Want To Keep Cassano
    6/18/2005 11:29:00 AM
New Roma coach Luciano Spalletti insists he wants Antonio Cassano to remain at the club.
The controversial former Bari frontman is believed to be a target for Juventus, with many expected the transfer to take place this summer.

"We haven’t discussed the transfer strategy yet and will look over the situation over the next few days. We want to keep all Roma’s great players and that includes Antonio Cassano," said Spalletti.

IMO we should bring in Mancini and move Camo to center.

More like Francesco Totti than Maradona :).

I'm sorry Vinni, but I would certainly take Cassano if the opportunity comes. We may not need him at the moment, but in the future we will be sorry if he's becoming world class with a different shirt on his back.

No way! This is the turning point in Cassano's career, reports he's 'maturing' under all 54 of Roma's coaches this past season are crap..he'll achieve that personal step-up when he joins us in a matter of weeks.
I was serious! International recognition will be at fever pitch by the time he's completed his first season in bianconero and leads his nation into the World Cup next summer..

Of course DP never said "I'm sorry". It's just that a lot of DP-bashers are trying to be funny when they say we should keep in mind DP scored against Bayern.
