Geez... I wonder why Roma had so many coaches this past season ???

Could it be that this dickhead chased away proven coaches like Del Neri, Voeller, and even Pradelli ????

All 3 clashed with this little Totti- wannabe, so its no wonder they all resigned
Prandelli never clashed with Cassano, he was on the board for about 2 weeks if i recall correctly before his wife contracted a pretty bad illness.

Rudi Voller is a pathetic coach. His lack of expertise and luck he has had at coaching is more then any other coach, and he was obviously placed as an emergency coach as he played at Rome and was availible after the time as he resigned at Germany.

Del Neri quit due to lack of results. Yes, Voller and Del Neri clashed with Cassano, but a 22 year old with a temper is an unlikely reason for these guys to go.

Not to mention even if it was, Capello was not forced out and he got it pretty bad too. He only left because of a clause in his contract stating that he is free to leave if he has not been paid for 6 months, which he wasnt.

Although Zlatan's assist stats were a bit inaccurate..as I know for sure, he tops the list with 28 in all competitions this past season.

Im sorry but they are not wrong... They are the official stats for serie A...

Ive read in many threads here about his supposed higher number... But in these, people judge an asssist differently to the actual methods accepted and used by every national federation, uefa and fifa...

The stats given are from opta.. the only sanctioned statistics provider and the only provider that follows uefa and fifa guidelines

What exactly is an assist then? I thought it was the last player who passes the ball to said scorer.
It is... But for example... A player shoots... the ball is blocked and falls too another who scores... Now according to many people here , thats an assist... It isnt...

There are many such plays that people deem to be assists but they are not recognised by the official guidelines as being so

What would you classify as the 'limit' on the number of players that the scorer can dribble before putting the ball in the net?

I think the 'last pass' rule is a bit shady if:

    * It's only a slight/accidental touch. Goal scorers are judged on which attacker touched the ball last, but should the same thing count for an assist?

    * A player receives the ball in his own half and either holds onto it for a long time, or dribbles past 4 players and the goalkeeper.

That, to me, is not an assist.

Its not an assist... and thats exactly the point... But some like to say they are

Both the examples you list are covered by the guidelines and are not recognised as assists
