Either Vieira or Emerson should be sold to make way for a world class central midfielder with considerable attacking abilities.

I've been a huge fan of Emerson for some time as his contribution to the team has been invaluable, but I also think - and I know I'm kind of alone on this one - that Patrick Vieira's had a good season. I wouldn't be sad if it's Emerson and not Vieira who'd get offloaded.

It hasn't been easy for Paddy playing alongside another defensive midfielder with a style similar to his, but I think he's coped with it well - he's got a few goals to his name as well as a few assists. The last goal we scored was assisted by him and I can remember a few other sweet ones, most notably the one against Bayern Munich in the CL group stage at Delle Alpi, the delicious lob which found Trezeguet inside the area.

One of them has to go in my opinion.

"Who do you think should be offloaded? Please discuss"

Pair one of them up with the perfect partner and we'll have solved a major problem in the side.

I think riquelme would be perfect in front of viera, because he's a world class attackinf midfielder plus he has great skills and of course he has one of the most powerful miedfielder in the world behind his back so he wont have any worries
i frefer vieira with riquelme over emerson with riquelme because brazil and argentina dont match at all

I'd put Rooney ahead of anyone in that position TBH, but the fact is that Cassano can be close in Joining Juve, while Wayne Rooney...thats pretty hard to see man utd letting this kid go.

his attitude on the pitch pisses me off.u know, the whole "dont mess with me or ill fuck you" bit.i think he's a wannabe tough guy.plus the constant attention he gets from the english press gets on my nerves.ppl dubbed him as the next pele at euro 2004,and compared his performance at the euros to the ones pele had at the 1958 wc finals.

no offence, but the english do over-rate their players.rooney might be good, but saying that he's the next pele is going way overboard.
I agree with #10, he is still better than cassano. I personally hate english players, I hate people over rating them. Heck I even said owen was crap when he popped up on the scene.. however in this case I must admit there is certainly something special about Rooney, he is like the tevez of argentina. His young, skillful, aggressive, has got a good eye for a goal and seriously is a hot prospect if he continuos the way his playing and improves as well this guy can go far. Cassano is a lost cause.. I dont know why his so overly rated and unfortunately I have to admit this time that an english player like rooney makes cassano look like a third division player. Hmm okay maybe not third but heck you know what I mean :D. As for comparing him to pele.. hell no they are different type of players and its way too early to even go there.

i agree but cassano wont be joining juve because real wont sell him for free plus cassano isn't a team player so he can't deliver plays to trezeguet so carlos tevez maybe or lio messi but i know i'm still dreamin

It's true he's not a team player and I'd probably also prefer Tevez over him, but on the other hand he's probably the best choice we can have as long as getting rid of Zlatan and his man Capello.

you know i prefer to loan zlatan or to give himb another chance next year and if he still preforms like shit than he's out , but as far as capello he should be out at the end of the season and lippi should replace him

Loaning zlatan is virtually impossible, according to capello his a first teamer.. and its not like first teamers are loaned. Also zlatan wont be pleased about loans he will reject them all and make a right fuss about it proberly affacting other players morale.. therefore if we get a good price this summer.. im up for getting rid of him.. if not then, heck we got no choice but to see him week in week out for us next season under capello.. deja vu.

I'd never play Zlatan again, atleast not under Capello.

Olisadabe is at pompey, and an average at best.

Fred cost 11million(sterling i think), and is lyons best finisher by a mile. But its too soon for us to go for him.
