Tevez is probably the ultimate Conte player. So versatile and dude never stops running. He will put constant pressure on opponents defence and win so many balls back with his work ethic. He's like SS version of Vidal. Jovetic is not even on the same vicinity as Tevez.

Tevez is a tricky situation

1) he's considerably older then Jovetic, and a bit older then Higuain.
2) He isnt the player from 3 years ago that tore the epl apart
3) However, in this lesser form, he's still considerably better then Jovetic, but one doesnt know what potential Jovetic has, and how fast he'll get there.
4) Higuain is a better addition.

Thing is, apart from Higuain's superior scoring ability, for the next 2/3 years, he's vastly superior in every other quality, compared to all the other player we could realistically get.

Realistically in, not Suarez. Suarez > Tevez. Hence, given a good team, Suarez could become > Tevez from a few years ago.

Only take him, if we can get a significantly better deal then Jovetic, wich i doubt

Its really hard to see what are the better deals currently, especially with so many media bullshit going around.

One needs to take in accound, the net spend on the transfer, the wage diffrence, and the fact that we can only efficiently sell our forwards by including in a deal.
No one is paying the actual value for matri/quag/vucinic/giovinco. But in a p/e deal, we can. So those make it extra interesting

Jovetic

great fit with both llorente, higuain or tevez, even suarez. Showed brilliance before injury, getting back into it Big knee injury allways a concern. Value : 30mil

30mil ? Hell no, not worth it
15/18mil + players ? pretty good.

Tevez

Still excellent despite significantly less then 3 years ago. not very young. not gonna stay much here once hitting 30. Suits our game so very well. Is incredibly complete.

5mil+melo, is bullshit. What is his real cost ? what are his real wages ?
We cannot know if he is a good deal at the moment

Higuain

Best finisher in the game. Can score on his own. Can play wide. Complete finisher+burstspeed and good technique. Less allround then Tevez. Moderate age. 30 mil

So many fee's mentionned, but it actually seems Madrid want 30mil.

30mil. Worth it, but 30 mil is alot for us and we cant land a second player for sure if we do that.
20/22 + bonus or +vidal first option. Better, could squeeze out a second deal. highest value asset we can sign.

Yeah, and then you got the shitload of other mentionned players

if pellegrini is hired i think he will get rid of tevez(roman episode) in which case we should have a fair shot at him unless the frenchies intefere
They'll still put a price on his head. And for a player who's former reputation (quality wise) was so high, there will allways be an oilteam be offering.

We can get him, but we can only bargain so much.
