that is a seriously lame excuse not to want tevez, every player transfer is a risk, but at the same time they are an opportunity that can pay off.

I still think its really unlikely he'd come, but people saying they don't want him at the club need to watch him play more often, he can change a team, true he has personal problems..who doesn't? he isn't happy in Manchester and if we can make it into the CL this year our chances would be much better, we can free up wages from Amauri, Iaquinta, Quag etc. He'd be worth it
I think this "Tevez has personal problems"-argument is an exaggeration. I'm not even sure he has personal problems. What, just because he wants to quit Manchester City and doesn't fancy playing for that transvestite Roberta? Look, he told the club a long time ago that he wanted to leave, but no one gives a damn about his opinion at City. Yet he has turned out for Manchester City 99.9 % of the time, playing well, scoring heaps of goals, despite being very unhappy. Would a player with "personal problems" have managed to stay this professional?
The Bayern-incident wasn't nice, but that was ONE incident during his entire spell at City. There were no such episodes either for Manchester United nor West Ham. We're all humans, and we all make mistakes. I think that all Tevez wants is a little respect, which he's getting none of at Manchester City.

Personal problems in the sense of "currently going through off the pitch difficulties at Man City", then sure. In that sense there's nothing to prove, cause he has those problems. But most of the discussion here is based on a lot of people fearing that he has a negative attitude and that he might bring it to Juventus, which in turn will hurt the club. That's the part I'm not so sure about.
As for his family, if Tevez decides to go to Juve it will be after consulting his family first and them giving him the green light for such a move, don't you think?

Yeah, those problems. How he deals with them is also an issue, but we would just be guessing.
Surely his family were consulted before he moved to London and Manchester, although you would think that any move he has now would involve his family living with him, so they would make their bed and lie in it, so to speak. I know his family are living with him now but the situation hasn't changed.

I suppose there is a risk involved with that family-thing of his, but apart from that I truly do see him as a model professional. Being able to perform so well despite being unhappy is part of what makes him world class. And I also just wanted to point out that I don't think it's right to read too much into the Bayern-incident.
